Schneider’s Dairy Inc

Very rude!!! Watched one woman play solitaire on her computer while I waited to be waited on! I am still currently waiting for some to take care of me been standing here in the office for 13 minutes without any acknowledgment.

If you’re a Pittsburgher, particularly one of the South Hills persuasion, then you know Schneider’s. You’ve drank their milk, eaten their ice cream, put their sour cream on yer baked potatoes, dipped chips into their excellent French Onion dip…
…and are likely addicted to that sweet nectar of life known as Schneider’s Iced Tea. Call it «yinzer juice» or whathaveyou, but to my taste buds, it is the best commercially made iced tea I have ever had. It’s sweet, «brewy», has just the right amount of lemon flavor, is murky like coffee, rich yet highly refreshing, and it’s LOCAL.
I drink it like water and buy it by the gallon, which is probably not something my doctor would like to hear. Holy caffeine!
On a hot summer day in a glass full of ice… jeez.
I write this review mainly to alert people that you can actually purchase stuff directly from them in bulk (and save some coin) at their Whitehall location.
It’s right smack dab in the middle of a quiet residential suburban area and is a little hard to find. Look for the silos.
And of course you can find their products everywhere else from Brookline to Bethel.
Man, who reading this used to have a milkbox? Y’know, when we had milkmen way back in the day?
