Description

History

Established in 1974.

Quaker Steak & Lube was established in 1974 when cofounders Gary Meszaros and George Warren bought a vacant automobile station in Sharon, PA and converted into a restaurant. Guests at the time were invited to «cook your own steak». The main attraction, however, was the array of automotive memorabilia.

It wasn’t long until the restaurant expanded to include newly popular Buffalo-style wings. In 1988 Quaker Steak & Lube received their first major award voted «Best Wings USA», winning the National Chicken-Out contest in Cleveland, Ohio. Since then Quaker Steak & Lube has won hundreds of national and international awards. Today, we have over 20 different flavors of wings.
