History

Established in 2009.

Mostly Mod and Artica Gallery began as two separate businesses around the same time in Homestead, Pa and Garfield respectively. In 2012, Mostly Mod’s Bernie Shilling (Mostly Mod retro) joined Christine Bethea (Artica Gallery art and antiques) decided to merge and move into the Garfield space at 5110 Penn Avenue where they merged their styles and love of finding amazing things for the modern home décor. They offer affordable prices on unique pieces that attract people looking to build their mid-century look or enhance an eclectic style. Their best complement: «I always come in because I never know what you’ll find.» Customers say they have competitive pricing, a thoughtful selection, and a good eye for the what the public wants.
