MIxstirs is pretty good! Nestled inside the Heinz History Museum, Mixstirs offers a respite from the eclectic and random assortment of exhibits.
I ordered the veggie wrap, which comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, carrots, olives, blah blah blah. I ordered olive oil and vinegar as my dressing. The sandwich preparer was inexperienced, so allow me to kindly suggest putting less oil and vinegar on sandwiches. The oil and vinegar drip down through the length of the wrap and get on my hands. Then when I shake the hand’s of my cousin’s boyfriend, he might think that I recently fapped.
The veggie wrap was excellent though. Thanks

Mixstirs is a great addition to the History Center! Often museum cafes are boring or offer nothing healthy, but Mixstirs has better offerings then most. Their menu includes a variety of sandwiches, salads, wraps, soups and smoothies. There are also options for combos if you want to try some of each.
I have tried the asian chicken salad, the veggie wrap and several of the soups and all have been tasty. I wanted to love the smoothies, but they were not as good as I expected. I enjoyed the watermelon smoothie, but was disappointed that it had little to no watermelon flavor.
Overall, great flavors and a nice variety. A great place to stop if you need a break from the six floors of museum exhibits.
