Michael Cushman is trusted by the community and committed to the highest standards in dentistry. He is known as the «Doctors» Dentist in Oakland. His patients include Critical Care and Emergency Care Physicians, Internists, Ophthalmologists, Pediatricians, Surgeons, and Physicians in Residency and Fellowship. Dr. Cushman is devoted to providing his patients with the most current in dental technology and Cosmetic Artistry available for excellent general, cosmetic and restorative dentistry.

Dr. Cushman is a graduate of Georgetown University Dental School. He has also completed post graduate training at the Seattle Institute of Dental Education and the William C. Strupp Post Graduate School of Dentistry. Dr. Cushman’s private practice in Pittsburgh is focused on comprehensive cosmetic and general dentistry. UPMC and CMU Emergency Dental Care Protocol were also developed by Dr. Cushman. In addition, Dr. Cushman has a published article in Radius Healthcare Magazine.

I had to change my dentist from south side because they never even answered my call and I have to say Michael Cushman’s office is the best dental experience I’ve had. I went in got a cleaning, the process was very simple, and Mr. Cushman himself is a really great dentist to talk about your oral Health with. Upon my great experience I even received a free coffee mug and dentistry products

Dr. Cushman and his staff are simply amazing! I no longer mind going to the dentist. I agree with the previous review that calls Dr. Cushman a wizard. He is incredibly intelligent. I had been complaining for the past 3 years to my previous dentist that I had some pain under a cap. On my first visit to Dr. Cushman, he looked into the problem (turns out I needed a root canal). With the problem fixed and I no longer have any pain. Working at Presby/​Montefiore Hospital, he is just a few blocks away. It is easy to make time to go to his office during the day to get to my general annual cleaning. His office staff schedules just the right number of patients so there is never a wait. He is very accomodating and easy to get a hold of on the phone or via email. I can’t say enough good things about this dentist. I recommend all my family, friends and co-​workers to go to him.
