It sucks that this app tells you the wrong time!!! They should change it!!! That’s is not fair for all the people that work late! And believe this app is telling the truth!

This horrible place with their horrible staff refused to take care of my husband when he had an allergic reaction to a bee sting. I then turned them in to the Better Business Bureau and they lied to get out of being held responsible for what they did. The lies that were told scare me because people go there to get help. If I can help anyone in the future please do not go there unless all you have is a sniffle or need a Band-Aid. I will never ever go back there again and I hope the place closes down

Long story short: stepson fell on steps, hurt his arm/elbow. Took him to Med Express on McKnight Rd. Xrays supposedly showed fractures in wrist and elbow, but apparently nothing serious enough for a trip to the ER. Was given pain meds, sent home. Days later, after rearranging EVERYBODY’S schedule to get him in to see an orthopedist, was told: «No fractures, just bruised». Seriously? This place is nothing but a glorified drug store with office furniture.

I came in for a visit mainly because I had a sore throat. The technician took my vitals and was polite as I explained the reason for my visit. The P.A. that attended to me had no idea what was going on. She walked in the door to the exam room and stated that my strep test was negative — a test that was never administered. At first I thought maybe it was a visual check, but she hadn’t even looked in my throat yet. So I called later to confirm — sure enough, no strep test was taken. At least I wasn’t charged. I was pretty furious, as my entire visit was to make sure I had nothing contagious so I could resume working. The receptionist I spoke with about this problem offered a sincere ‘sorry’, but that doesn’t fix my waste of time and money!

I completely agree that most of the staff there is really nice but Dr. Syeda Shergill is so awful its not even funny. She is so full of herself and doesn’t listen to anything the patient is saying. She has no respect for her patients and what they might be thinking is going on in their body and is rude and dismissive. She was completely wrong when she prescribed me a medication and I had an adverse reaction to it I had to go see another doctor and the other doctor couldn’t believe she had put me on it in the first place! Save your money and go to another medexpress or anywhere else!

John, the nurse, Marcie the PA, Kelly at the desk… all were pretty fantastic except Dr. Syeda Shergill. I found her to be the kind of doctor that operates from an egotistical self serving place of self righteousness. The kind of doctor that assumes the patient does not know their own body nor should they be considered a part of the care plan. I will never allow her to be my doctor nor that of my daughter’s.

I went there with chest pains last night. They gave me an EKG, found«inverted T-waves»(but they couldn’t tell me what those were!), and said I had a fever of 99.5. They sent me to AGHER, and promised to send the results over there immediately. They never did. Also, they got my name wrong on the HIPAA forms — and they copied my name right off of their entry form they typed up correctly. 30 minutes later at the ER, I had no temperature, and no inverted T-waves(they have *real* medical staff at the hospital, who *do* know what a t-wave is!). Today I called MedExpress back, asking when they intended to forward my information to Allegheny General Hospital Emergency Room. «Oh, right away sir — do you have their number?» They don’t even know the number for the closest hospital. They can’t read a thermometer correctly — a digital readout. They can’t copy 8-letter names correctly off typed pages. Do not go there. They are a money-gathering service that uses medical equipment in ways they’ve seen on TV.

This place is a joke! So I go there with bumps on my neck and forearms looking for A solution. So I see Dr syeda r shergill and she puts on glove and with her face turned up she says o you have scabies. I’m like scabies! Me not a doctor I don’t know so I get a prescription $ 40.00 I go home start using it. A couple of days later its getting worse! So I make a dermatologist appointment to find out that what I have is Poison ivy. Today med express sent me bill for $ 131.25

Much better than a trip to the ER, cheaper, and no need to wait days for an appointment at the primary care physician. Was drilling some shelves and somehow a tiny piece of something got behind my safety glasses, so headed here to get it removed from my eye. The wait was about 30 minutes, but once in the exam room it was handled in about 10 minutes. The problem was a ideal fit for an urgent care place. I was glad it was early evening and they were open, or I would have probably been sitting in the ER until after midnight.

Ok, so this is a Unilocal by proxy. A friend went to Med Express a couple weeks ago. She had a small red patch of itchiness. She payed $ 40 for these idiots to tell her she had ringworm. So she FREAKS! Douses herself in this crème that the prescribe for her, and waits. and waits. and waits. Then about a week later. Holy effing monkeys! It is worse! How could it be worse? So she goes back. This time, not only does she see the PA, but also a nurse and the MD. You would think better results right? WRONG! They tell her its ringworm and its getting worse. keep using the crème. At this point, she talks to me about it and Im like… UMMM go to a real doctor, and refer her to my PCP. Long story shorter, she ends up at a dermatologist. Dermatologist says well of course its getting worse it is OBVIOUSLY eczema not ringworm and the ringworm meds are drying it out and making it WAY worse than it would have ever been on its own. So, 2 trips to MedExpress, 2 incorrect diagnoses, $ 80+ meds/lotions lost, and a month of pain and suffering all because these people tried to diagnose something they obviously had no clue about. Way to go on your Hippocratic Oath, I’m pretty sure there is something in there about do no harm and if you don’t know what you are talking about STFU! DON’T GOHERE for anything other than a runny nose, they might amputate your arm or something.

If it doesn’t need a full ER visit, go here. I live next to a hospital — and 20 minutes from Medexpress — and I think it was much faster to go here, and probably cheaper as well. In 90 minutes, I had two bad cuts cleaned, numbed, stitched, bandaged, and two prescriptions filled. They were friendly and efficient. I’d recommend this place to friends and family, A+++.
