MAYA Organization is a non-profit that provides counseling and services to women, families, and children. We specialize in adoption and foster care, pregnancy, post traumatic stress disorder, and more.
History
Established in 2009.
MAYA Organization began advocating for those touched by adoption and the foster care process. Now, we offer a variety of counseling, programming, and events; every September we hold our annual Pittsburgh Pedal Crawl bicycle fundraiser.

Tomilyn W.
Business Owner
Tomi founded MAYA Organization, after going through the adoption process of adopting her second child; she realized the financial and emotional burden that adoptive families face during such a sensitive time in their lives. Tomi has been quoted, «I am especially interested in making sure that birth parents receive the emotional support they deserve before, during and after the child is born.»
Now, she has worked to expand the types of support and offerings of the organization to provide relief and resources to woman and families in all sorts of difficult situations.
