I was an 8pm walk-in on a thursday night. Everyone was very, very nice to me and my family. I did not get the name of the gentleman who worked on my nails, but he did a fantastic job. He didn’t skimp on a single thing. There was a cheery woman in dress whom offered all of us something to drink. I was very impressed with the great service I received. I am definitely making this my regular salon. One of the best ones I’ve been to, for sure. I recommend this place to everyone.

This is definitely one of the best places to get your nails done in the North Hills. Everyone working has always been friendly. Despite what other reviews have said, the gel manicures are long lasting. The picture I am posting is my gel manicure after 15 days – perfect. My only negative is that there is next to no cell reception in the salon and they can be understaffed but overall, I’ve always been happy with my service there.

Terrible! I got a gel manicure that lasted 3 days before it started to lift from the edges of the nail. I ended up removing them, they came off in one piece! Like it was rubber. I paid $ 40 for gel(including an extra $ 10 for matte). What a disaster. The girl didn’t even know how to make matte tips, she asked for help and the one other girl who didn’t even listen to the problem just painted all my nails matte(as fast as she could) so then more top coating had to be added, the result of it was a bubbly tip on each nail. I wish I had pictures to show! Honestly, I would have been happy to have given the $ 40(plus tip) to a homeless person than this place(with horrible customer service, I must add). I’m just going to end this here before I get myself in trouble.

HORRIBLEEXPERIENCE. DONOTGOHERE. I went into the nail salon for a gel manicure. After waiting for 40 minutes I was finally seen. At the time there were only 2 other customers in the salon and 3 employees. When I was finally seen, the lady removed my previous gel nails and started to file my nails. She left me sitting there 3 separate times to do other things. At this point I had been there for an hour. I had to get to my job and told the lady doing my nails to just paint them so I could leave on time. She continued to take her time. At that point I had to leave and said I would pay for the filing and gel removal. I was charged $ 15 a jagged and TERRIBLE manicure that was not even painted. I called to speak to Melynda the manager who was extremely rude to me and refused to give me any money back. She made multiple excuses and refused to take any responsibility or show empathy for what occurred. I can’t believe how awful the customer service was. I spent 10 minutes on the phone arguing with the manager and nothing came out of it. I can’t forget to mention the cleanliness level of the establishment. It appeared to be clean but after looking at the sanitizer they kept the equipment in, I noticed about 200 old nail particles floating in the«clean» solution. Save yourself the time and DONOT go to this terrible salon. I cannot believe they are still in business.

absolutely horrible experience. My friend and I went in for a gel manicure and the salon was dead. There was only 1 woman in the back getting her pedicure finished and there were 3 people working. They asked us to pick a color and wait. When I finally chose a color he began my manicure. The manicure itself was subpar and the guy doing it was so rude. He would get up in the middle of it and go to the back and then come back with nothing. They knew my friend had a gel manicure on her nails at the time but didn’t begin to take it off even though it’s a long process. another employee finally came out and got my friends manicure started after being there for 40 minutes. After I was finished the guy charged my credit card $ 108 and my manicure was only $ 35. He had absolutely no remorse and didn’t even apologize when I pointed out his mistake. He had no clue how to void it and laughed when he told me he didn’t know what to do. Overall we ended up leaving before my friend could finish because a typical trip to get gels takes no more than 45 minutes and by this point we’ve been there for over an hour and a half. Safe to say I will never return AND the sign outside says 20% off gel manicures but this was not honored. The sanitizing container was dirty and filled with old nail clippings and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned out in months. And the man doing my nails picked the cuticles until they were bleeding. ABSOLUTELYDISGUSTINGCUSTOMERSERVICE. Melinda the«manager» clearly has no idea how to run a business.

Worst pedicure I’ve ever had! A blind man could do better. Ever nail is a different length, barely fixed my cuticles, and the paint job it horrible. The tech seemed more concerned with her own nails than mine. I expected a LOT more for $ 40!!!

Quick service and friendly staff. Wonderful atmosphere and did not have the overwhelming nail salon smell. VERY clean. The woman who did my nails was very skilled and efficient in her work. It seems that other people had poor experiences, but maybe they were served by different staff members. Typical prices for a salon and great results. Will be returning. As is typical with many nail salons, tip can only be paid in cash. However, there is an ATM next door, which I used.

Let me just say… WOW!!! :) After a couple of crappy gel manicures from other nail places around McKnight & Ross Park mall, I took a chance and made an appointment here today! The owner(who I heard was great) from Unilocal was booked, so I was happy to try anyone. The lady they put me with(forgive me, but her name has slipped my mind) was very kind, and did a wonderful, immaculate job on my nails! She helped me pick a color from their impressive selection of gel polishes, and then spent the next fourty minutes paying great attention to detail and perfecting my manicure. My nails have never looked better, and the price was almost 20 $ less than most places I’ve gone. The place is very very clean, they offered me some bottled water or tea when I first came in, and everyone seemed friendly and well-trained. Check it out!

Best salon on McKnight rd, hands down. If you need a quick manicure, this should be your go-to stop if you’re around the Ross Park Mall area… Trust me! Otherwise you’ll just end up leaving one of the other nail salons mid way though, unhappy, and possibly slut-shamed.

Don’t let anyone else there do your nails other than Linda. She’s the owner and wonderful. I’ll let the other people there do my toes, but that’s it.

Absolutely horrible! I normally drive an hour to my salon because I always leave satisfied. It just happened that I could not make it last week and I was in serious need of a pink and white fill. I went last Tuesday. They looked ok. As the days goes on my thumb begins to hurt and is red at the cuticle area. The acrylic was down way too far and not properly filed down. I had to literally file it off. By Friday I could now notice that none of the were properly filed down because my hair kept getting stuck in them. Not to mention they were at lifting at the tops. I called Saturday and they lady on the phone said I could come Monday and the manager would take them off for me. I go in, explain what happened and the manager tells me «ok $ 15» I explained that I just spent $ 60 on a horrible job and all I’m asking is for them to be taken off. The whole time she is acting as if the girl who did my nails did me a favor by filing down the pink and white in order to do both colors. When in fact, that’s HOW it NEEDS to be done in order to fill both. After finally getting her to agree to simply take them off she had an attitude and says«you aren’t getting a refund.» I did not ask for a refund! I WILLNEVEREVERGOBACKANDWOULDNOTRECOMMENDITTOANYONE, EVER. AVOIDATALLCOSTS!

I’m from Florida and it’s very hard finding the right nail salon. After a few disappointments on other places I found the LA studio. Long story short. My nails look amazing. I wanted them shaped and showed a picture and they are flawless. The staff was super friendly. And we sat back and chatted for a while. I felt so comfortable I was late for my date which I had to get my nails done for in the first place. The color varieties were all there. I’m moving back to Miami soon and wish I could take this place with me.

I recently had an unpleasant experience at this salon. After my mani/pedi, I went home and looked closely at my nails, and the paint was uneven on almost every nail and three nails had polish smeared all over the cuticles. It basically looked like the work of a five-year-old. In her defense, the young lady who polished me didn’t seem welll. Hope I don’t come down with a cold as well. I went back the next day to show her my nails and she offered to touch them up, but I didn’t have time. No refund was offered, of course! I question if they all have manicurist licenses. This isn’t the work of someonenwho has completed 200 mandatory hours. Won’t be returning.
