History

Established in 2003.

Started in 2003, Michael Stratos wanted to provide businesses with custom solutions… not cookie-​cutter ones that didn’t fit with the goals and needs of the organization. What started with an idea in his basement for complete customer service, has now led to a team of 47 employees all focused on implementing technology solutions tailored to the budget and needs of the Pittsburgh region.

Business Owner

With over 25 years of computer networking and security experience, Michael is more than your average CEO, he is invested in every aspect of Ideal Integrations and also acts as a sales engineer. He studied biology at the University of Pittsburgh but after graduation he found his passion for IT. In 2003, he started Ideal Integrations in his basement and a move that later led him to be named the 2009 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year. Driven by his knowledge, experience and years of forensic analysis, Michael facilitates several corporate network seminars on infrastructure design incorporating disaster recovery, business continuity, security and data protection.
