I treasure the Goodwill. Not only is it a great place to find discounted merchandise, the Goodwill industries of Pittsburgh provides programs for the mentally and also physically disabled/challenged. As a senior in highschool I spent a summer as an intern at the Southside headquarters. It was truly a humbling experience. I also for about a year participated in their drivers school, it was $ 50.00 for an hour lesson, even though I didn’t get a license through the Goodwill Driver’s school it was still the lowest price in Pittsburgh that I found for that service. Now for the Unilocal,90’s party, Unilocal Kicks it oldschool I had to dress 90’s and I wanted to look retro on a budget. So I went to the East Ohio shop and found blue jean cut off shorts and a ultra soft men’s small flannel shirt for $ 4 dollars. That my friends is a win. On past occasions I have also found great prices on glass dishes and cups. The store on the Northside is no where near as big as the one in the Southside, but it’s still worth a visit. Give a little back and feel great about it. A portion of the proceeds spent at the Goodwill go back into the programs for elderly, the disabled and poor.
