Dr. Machiko received his dental degree in 1982 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Machiko has practiced general, aesthetic & implant dentistry in Pittsburgh for more than 30 years. In addition, Dr. Machiko also has a Mechanical Engineering degree. This additional training has become an asset with regards to his comprehensive approach to dentistry and technique.

Dr. Machiko has completed over 1500 implants since 1985, long before they became so popular. The following are some of his recent accomplishments:

–1998 appointed Clinical Instructor of Cosmetic Dentistry at New York University

–Awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2001 for his efforts in Continuing Dental Education

–Awarded a Fellowship in the Midwest Implant Institute for his knowledge of Implant Dentistry

–The only dentist in Pittsburgh to earn Diplomate status for the American Board of Oral Implantology/​Implant Dentistry.
