History

Established in 2001.

Michael Shull grew up working in his family’s furniture store until moving to Pittsburgh as a Sales Manager for Colonial Gallery for eight years, winning an award as #1 Salesperson in North America. Brad Halstead graduated from Fairmont State University with a degree in Interior Design and has over 20 years of design experience. Together they formed Bradley Michaels Furniture Direct on August 1, 2001 and have built a successful business with over 20,000 clients.

After a long day of unsuccessful day of living room furniture shopping (went to 4+ stores that day), this was the first place where I was able to find real help. The staff was nice and friendly and helped me pick out GREAT LOOKING & HIGH QUALITY furniture, WITHOUT BREAKING MY BUDGET. Salesmen were nice enough to look at our living room pictures and help us pick out what would go well with our current taste of decoration. My wife was happy with the end results and I was happy I didn’t break my budget.

Recently needed to update some living room furniture and got some beautiful new end tables and a sofa table. Brad also did a home visit. We decided to set a budget for him to redecorate and add some contemporary touches. He stayed within our limit and did amazing things! We love our new living room and all of our guests comment on what a beautiful room it is. Appreciate them going above and beyond our expectations! Definitely recommend for design advice!

Purchased a Riverside entertainment center and a Riverside dining room set. Absolutely gorgeous! I read the other review about poor customer service and my experience was the total opposite. Michael was very professional and courteous. Brad followed up with us asking if we needed help placing the items and interior design advice. It was a great experience with very kind people. We are already planning to remodel a bedroom and they will be first choice. As someone whose family has worked in the furniture business in the past, I understand that quality furniture is special ordered and takes some time. That’s common sense. It was well worth the wait to have a gorgeous addition to our living room and dining room. Thank you!

Buyer Beware-​purch 2Hooker Recliners 10⁄14 promised usual delivery, certainly before holidays. Took delivery 4⁄15 and damaged chair wasn’t replaced till 7⁄15. It took 9 months to get my purch? Owner and salesperson lied and boasted recliners «made in USA». Hooker says they made in China! Also approved for 5k credit, way more than needed for purch but owner insisted on cash down saying it was lenders guideline. Called the lender, another lie by store owner. Store got their $ and us waiting for our furniture was forgotten. They didn’t even courtesy call when we finally got the order! The store had my money 10 mths before I had my recliners. WILL NEVER buy here again. Can’t continue to build a business on lies!
