The cookies that I love are back! Even though they never went anywhere. I use to buy cookies at the old location on Smithfield Street in downtown Pittsburgh all the time when they were still open. After that location closed I thought that they had gone out of business. Fast forward to 2014. My wife and I were trying to find something different to send to our daughter’s class for her birthday as we had already done several different kinds of cupcakes over the years. While doing a search on the web we found the Apple Cookie Company website and found out that they had a location on Braddock Avenue in Turtle Creek. We called to confirm that, that was indeed Apple Cookie Company and that they were open for business and made our way there. This location is kind of in an industrial park so don’t let that scare you away. After we ragn the buzzer and were let in and looked at the cookie list on the wall to see what was available. Some of the cookies they offer are chocolate chip, peanut butter, oatmeal raisin, double chocolate and so many more. The cookies do seem smaller than they used to be a the Smithfield Street location but, I do like the fact that they come individually wrapped so people with peanut or other allergies don’t have to worry about cross contamination. Check out their website as you can get cookies delivered to your door as well. Needless to say the cookies were at hit with our daughter’s class and with us as well.

Damn! Those are some good cookies. I love my cookies nice and soft and chewy and Apple definitely had me in mind when they decided to do things. They have a great selection and it’s a perfect place for a hit of sugary goodness. I think it’s a great idea they have with the whole bucket of cookies.(Imagine a paint bucket filled with cookies… and no paint of course) They have plenty more gift options. Yo. It’s cookies. What more do you want?
