Horrible customer and nail service. Not even worth one star. My first time, about month ago, at this ‘salon’, the person doing my pedicure cut through my skin. I mentioned to her that she was being too rough but either she didn’t understand or chose to ignore me. Then she cut so deep that my toe bled a little and I finally asked for someone else to finish my pedicure. The next person was very nice and did a great job. So I walked in yesterday and asked for the same person. I was told he would be here today. I walked in around the time I was told to come back and he wasn’t there. I didn’t get a clear answer on why Michael, the person I spoke to, lied to me but decided to stay and get my pedi done anyway.
I asked for one of the males to do my pedi because I’m 9 months pregnant and due next week. My feet are extremely swollen and I wanted someone with strong hands. I sat in the water for 20 mins before Michael finally started doing my toes. He cut one set of toe nails and then got up to solve some issue with other customers without saying a word to me. Some other person came over to start doing my toes while he sat down with another customer. Again without saying a word to me. I told the rep I was waiting for him and he comes over to tell me that I would have to wait longer for him. At this point, I was done and said I’m leaving. Instead of trying to fix the situation, he said ok. If I wasn’t so pregnant, I would have reacted differently. I usually don’t stand for rude customer service but given my situation, I chose to not react in an angry manner and go somewhere else. Two different customers complained about getting a bad nail job while I was there. Apparently this ‘salon’ doesn’t care to hire competent employees and doesn’t care about the customers who choose to give them a second chance. Wasted 45 mins of my time.

Love love love this place, always friendly and an amazing environment. Even when busy, they don’t make me feel rushed.

At first I was very satisfied was very happy with this place until I realized they seriously over charge me! For a new short new set with NO design a pedicure with NO design I was charged $ 72. That is ridiculous my nails don’t even charge that much. When I got the matte red with crystals I was charged $ 52 for just a fill and one hand of crystals that started falling off the same day and the matte was so ugly because it was a rushed job I went back the very next day and had April put regular gel to make it shiny again. On top of that every time I make an appointment with April her husband answers the phone schedule the appointment at the wrong time and when I get there it’s always someone jus now getting in the chair so I have to wait 30min to 45 min. Moral of the story go to my nails if you’re going to be over charged for nail Art it might as well be done perfectly and not rushed! I will never return and if I do I will be in a desperate situation.

I wish Unilocal had –ve star option. Been going to this place for awhile now and have seen customer service getting worst and worst. It’s to the point that we won’t be going back anymore. April the owner seems like doesn’t appreciate the customers coming in. She always have a mood set like she is over worked and under paid. I’ve never seen this place empty without customer which is a blessing for some businesses but she has an attitude which is not very welcoming. Previously when my wife went in an older guy brutally hurt her fingers which upon request was transferred to another younger guy. They still charged her full price (which is fine) they gave her a $ 10 off coupon for next visit which she went in today to use and April wouldn’t take it since my wife didn’t get a «design» that $ 10 off didn’t apply to her work that she got done. Keeping in mind she was not made aware of the conditions neither it was specified on the $ 10 off coupon. April made my wife pay full price. My wife gave her $ 10 coupon back to April in charity. NEVER EVER GOING BACK. People there are other nail salons all over Pittsburg, Antioch, concord area. Lost us and my whole family as a customer.

April did it again! She decked out my nails for the Christmas season. She always delivers and makes me happy. I got my nails filled (with designs) and eyebrows waxed and was in and out in less than an hour. Can’t wait to go back and get them decked out again for new years. Thank you April!

Apirl does my nails and they are always what I want, and more. Show them any design and they can do it or better! Im always happy when I leave.

Great service, always manages to squeeze me in! Clean environment. Good pricing. Great pedicure options. So many colors, gels, powders, & designs to choose from. Bring in your own ideas & designs, April or Michael will make it happen. I am always amazed by what April can accomplish with such a small canvas & I’m sure I try her patience with my requests but she indulges me anyway. Plus girl talk with her is too much fun! I’ve never had a bad experience here & I’m picky. April & her team can also do a mean eyebrow wax :) I love their stamp cards: get 6 & get a free wax or design. Also if anything happens w/​in 3 days you get free repair. Overall I’m a satisfied customer happy to share my insight on this hidden gem.

April is my go-​to person for my pedicures! I myself am a hairdresser in Sacramento but come to Pittsburg for her to do my pedicures. The nail spa is amazing, pedicures, wax etc. it’s all under one roof. The whole team is great & friendly

I been coming here for about 2 mos and I am very pleased with this shop! My aunt told me about April and I have to say she is absolutely hands down one of the best Nail Manicurist I’ve been to in yrs. She is very professional, aims to please and doesn’t try to break your pockets. I come from across the bridge to see her. Come get your nails done!

My nails came out clumpy and she cut my skin like 2 times I have not yet found a great place out here in pittsburg they also did a horrible pedicure

I love the atmosphere and the service they do a great job. I’ve been going there for 2 years April and Michal always do a great job on my nails.

I will go back again for my next fill and pedicure!

April is amazing! She went above and beyond to give me a thorough pedi and even took off my gnarly old nail polish. Truly a job well done! And she’s hilarious, btw. The boy loved his pedi too. Call ahead for an appointment, as they do get busy.

Went in to get a couple things waxed 12 minutes before they closed and I was welcomed in and greeted. April did a great job! My hair is course and usually needs to be threaded or plucked after waxing, but April was able to get practically all of the hair by waxing. She also has a wonderful personality. Only down side was the price was a bit more than I usually pay

So, the prices are reasonable. But everything else not. I wanted a manicure pedicure. They did both at the same time, which was really awkward, cause they put the shellac light on my lap and every time you he guy working on my pedicure moved my legs, the light almost fell into the water.
I was in no rush, wanted something relaxing. Didn’t happen. Then, at the end of it, rather than letting my toes dry, they sent me on my way. He put the clear coat on, put my shoes on, then handed me my bag. WTF? Ok. The whole reason I did this was because I’m in a wedding and needed to look good
My nails look like they have no color on them, it looks like she missed spots. My toes got messed up because of them not being dry. Next time I’m doing it myself. This was bullshit

Went in for the first time for a shellac pedicure last Friday, and I am satisfied. Service was okay, nothing exceptional but I didn’t expect great customer service as most nail salons lack customer service in general.
Needless to say I am pleased with outcome of my pedicure. Environment kind of strange considering the woman sat on her flip flops on the floor to polish my nails. Experience definitely not relaxing but will probably revisit if I’m in need.

So their treatment of me wasn’t bad, they weren’t rude but this place is under staffed. I went in for a mani and my sister got a full set, and we both got shalac. Keep in mind shalac is suppose to be tough and last for a few weeks. It had now been one week and my nails have already chipped and so have my sisters. On top of that they only took I would say 5 mins to do my nails. Which if you’ve ever gotten a mani it takes more than that to do it right. I’m really unsatisfied and do not plan on coming back ever.
