We found Karen of In-&-Out Cleaning on Craigslist. My partner and I both work in SF and commute from north Concord, so we get about 2 hours at home each weeknight — we needed someone who could pick up the slack around the house for us. Our hope was to find someone we could trust beyond typical housecleaning duties, and Karen was willing to take on our additional needs. She visits every other week and our home is immaculate when we get home. We’re very satisfied with her fee and completely trust her with a key to our home and alarm code.

— She texts us the night before to confirm, and then again when she enters and leaves our home

I seriously love this woman! I found Karen on Craigslist add and messaged her about doing an organization and cleaning. She got back to me quickly and we made an appointment to view the space I wanted her to help me with. She offered me a doable price and we got started!
She helped me tackle the room and in just 2 days my room was a place to be seen! She helped me get rid of all the stuff I didn’t need (and hauled it away after), made my bathroom sparkle like it had never been used before, helped me organize my closet and make room for all my child’s stuff! By the time we were done I had so much room I didn’t know what to do with it all! It was brilliant!
I now have her coming every 2 weeks to help me keep it up! She Is professional, non– judgmental and easy to work with! I would recommend her to anyone!

I recently had a very difficult job to potentially plan for which would have been no fun at all to do. Karen was AMAZING! She was willing to stand by and to have a crew ready. She was extremely understanding and supportive to doing what ever was necessary, knowing that it could be a very unpleasant job! You don’t often find that kind of support out there in the world.
