Owners Doug and Melissa Cunningham have been proudly serving the Triangle area since 1994. Our reputation has been built on over 20 years of quality service and integrity. We sell most major brands of Tires and perform Tire Repairs & Wheel Alignments. We do Oil Changes, Batteries, Brakes, Inspections, Air Conditioning, Check Engine Lights, Electrical Diagnosis & Timing Belts. As vehicle needs change, we continually train for servicing all types Cooling systems/​Radiators, Transmissions, Starters, Alternators, CV Axles, Shocks and Struts as well as any Steering & Suspension concerns. For a more convenient visit, we offer Free Wi-​Fi in our waiting area and offer a Local Shuttle Service. History

Established in 1994.

Doug’s Auto & Tire, Inc. began humbly in 1994 in a parent’s garage in Cary, NC. The business principles have always been to strive to provide better service than is expected from our customers. As Doug has said, «There were alot of people who were not getting the service they deserved (in the automotive service world), and I started my business to meet that need.» We strive to offer the best customer experience and service each time and will do all that’s possible to make that happen every visit.

Doug C. has achieved and maintained a full Master ASE automotive Technician Certification for several years. To achieve the Master Certification, an individual must have passed all 8 of the Automobile & Light Truck repair tests and documented at least 2 years of hands-​on experience in the field. This covers: Engine Repair, Automatic Transmission/​Transaxle, Manual Drive Train & Axles, Suspension & Steering, Brakes, Electrical/​Electronic Systems, Heating & Air Conditioning, & Engine Performance. Also Doug has passed and achieved the L1– Advanced Engine Performance Specialist Certification. He has also learned from over 20 years of business experience and through helping others every day.
