Harry’s specializes in FUN! Full service bar with live music every night at 9:00 pm. We also have afternoon bands on Saturday and Sunday beginning at 3:00 pm. We have 3 pool tables that are always hopping too. Come on in for a cool one, dance the night away with friends, or enjoy a friendly game of pool — Harry’s is the place to be in Pismo Beach, CA! Great spot. Tony the bartender is a star. We are from Nova Scotia, Canada. Decided to drop in for a drink and had a great time. Bloody Mary was spectacular.
Just a note about the review where the guy said he was kicked out for being gay. This bar was very liberal. Talking to Tony and a couple of the patrons. there was not an ounce of prejudice. so friend put the gay card away and own up to the fact you got booted out because you deserved it

Literally the only real bar in pismo! It was nice there bartenders were nice. The security takes their security seriously we got carded twice by 2 different security guards. We didn’t get to spend too much time there because we went on new years eve and they closed at 6 re opened at 8 but to those with nye tickets. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.

The bartenders are excellent on «the pour,» always friendly & never leave you waiting. If you’re looking for live music they have decent live bands. The dance floor is small but gets the job done if you gotta move your feet. There’s room enough for a slow dance, when the time’s right. The patrons are generally laid back, nice & conversational. The age range appears to be 35 – 55, at least tonight. Or is that 45 – 65! LoL! I usually bring my friends visiting from out of town but tonight it’s just us girls. And a little chillax!

This is a bar. A sports bar, a live band bar, an old neighborhood bar. It is not a place to go to stand and model. It is the type of place they like you more if you are just you, normally. They don’t do pretentious. The bartenders are very very friendly and the pay attention. They pour a good drink, a more than fair drink for the money. The pool tables must be decent, they are popular. I enjoy it because I feel very comfortable here.

Had a really fabulous Friday night with three friends who came up from San Francisco. A live band played lots of great top 40s, and the patrons were all super friendly. They have a nice dance floor and tables with servers; the service was on point, too — prompt waitresses who made good small talk.
One star because we got kicked out for being gay. We’re not the most reserved group; four gay men dancing with straight guys’ girlfriends and wives while wearing fairly provocative attire. Everyone took it in stride, taking pictures with us and laughing.
Then we had to go because a door guy had kicked out my friend for undisclosed reasons.
Dear Harry’s, discrimination is illegal in California, and I’m a legal affairs reporter. That means you should likely expect a lawsuit, and for me to tip off every local paper that it’s been filed.

We came here on a Friday night in August, the place had a good band and was pretty packed. Drinks were good but not super stiff. Prices were slightly overpriced for the type of bar, but overall a great spot to hang with a group of friends. The husband loved it though. Overall great spot to go in Pismo!

If your in Pismo Beach and in need of live music then Harry’s is the spot. This is a place where locals and tourists can be found. The bar has everything you need. They offer food but it’s not what they are known for. If you like to play pool they have three bar sized tables. The service is great and the servers are helpful and friendly. The one star down-​grade was for the restrooms. They are too small for a club of this size. They also smelled a bit. The lady’s room had a long line.

Here I am. From San Jose. Driving down for a day trip trying to have a good time and enjoy the environment and stuff. So hungry and I decide we absolutely need a bloody! Laugh out loud! The bloody is spicy delicious but far too salty for life! I might get a kidney stone!
The bartender… I don’t want to name her. But I am not sure about her. She has either been here too long and hates this place or. Hates us. I’m really not sure. She wants to like us but she doesn’t hahaha. That’s okay I’m a bartender I understand! But come on girl lighten up! It’s Sunday! The bud light obviously clutch and the band that just came on. I am WITH IT PISMO! I love your vibe Harry’s if I was closer I’d try to snag a job!

Spent our friend’s birthday in Pismo Beach & the only place we wanted to go was HARRY’S. BEST CHOICE EVER! This was my first time there & it was perfect. It’s right in the heart of Pismo a block from the pier, but it had a GREAT LOCAL VIBE vs. touristy feel some places have around here. Wonderful service from our Bartender — Tony from New Yōrk. He was so funny & kind. & I had some awesome conversations with some locals & made new friends. IF YOU ARE IN PISMO… Go there. You’ll thank yourself later! Live music SIX NIGHTS A WEEK TOO! So coming back! Look out guys… We’ll be back!
