I have 18 months old daughter. We recently moved to town from Atlanta. We searched around, saw many child care centers and finally settled on Big Hugs as it was next door to office and we thought she will be close to us and we can visit her anytime during day. Sad part my daughter was always crying when I dropped her, starts crying on first sight while picking up. Kids were hardly engaged in activities. Staff was unfriendly except for couple. For anything we asked, we were told sorry it is state law. Finally we decided to search for another one and we are so happy to find first class. It is under new ownership and I cant put in words how good new owner Greg is. They treat kids as family. Staff is extremely friendly and you can tell everyone knows how to engage kids. My daughter doesn’t cry bad when I am dropping. When I pick her she always comes running but with a big smile. They do so many activities together. Everything we say is listened to and they try best to accommodate. Fee is extremely reasonable and probably best in this area. Will strongly recommend First Class. Keep up the good work!

There has been a Change is Management and this place is Horrible! The new owners have no patience and treat this place as a business. The good teachers are leaving for a reason. Ask the new owners how long their existing employees have stayed, the answer should speak volumes. The change in management made this place take a turn for the worse. Go elsewhere this place will NOT take care of your kids rather treat kids as a business transaction with inexperienced new staff. The owners of this place are terrible. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Interview the owners and the staff with the most experience and the answer will be to take your kids elsewhere.

We have been sending our kids to The First Class since they were babies, and now they are big kids. We love this place. They treat the kids and their parents like family. Everyone knows everyone regardless of what room they are in, and the place really feels like a warm, welcoming community. The staff there has very little turnover and everyone is loving, thoughtful, and respectful. They really help kids meet developmental, emotional, and social milestones and the staff is great at keeping the kids happy and well behaved. Our kids learned their letters and other bits of important knowledge really early on, and that was all coming out of this program. The kids ALL are excited to get there and are happy throughout the day. We have also never walked in and felt anything other than a calm vibe from the staff, which is no small feat in a room full of toddlers! They were superb when it came to potty training and they work with whatever method the parents want to use. Our kids potty trained well, and we owe a great deal of that to the staff. The staff also works really well with parents if there are any behavioral hurdles or other problems. One of our kids had a broken leg as a baby and the staff was totally equipped to manage her cast and keep her happy through the ordeal. They are very accommodating. The playground is great(complete with a splash area), and the kids spend a lot of time outside in nice weather. They also do tons of crafts. There are frequently fun extra activities, like the fun bus, and there is an annual Thanksgiving lunch, which is a nice treat for everyone. They are also flexible about scheduling and the prices are reasonable. It is a standalone building with just one main entrance and a coded door, so only authorized people are in and around the building, which feels safer than places that are part of other buildings or in strip malls. If you are looking for a place to send your kid, definitely check out The First Class!
