My first soccer game and first visit to this stadium. Reasonably priced tickets and good seats. Not really a bad seat in the place. Players signed autographs for kids after game so it was a good time for them. I enjoyed it as well.

I was with three girls named Summer, Rain and Sky. Summer and Rain just sat there and watched while Sky Blue. Actually I’m not really into that, but I am into the concept of women’s soccer someday being as lucrative for the athletes as men’s soccer is. We’ve already nearly reached that level in Tennis, so hopefully someday soccer will too. If and when it does, it’ll be teams like SBFC that made it happen. First-Hand Experience: I’ve seen them play the WNY Flash, both home and away, and I have to say they’re a truly awesome team, and the heart and soul of Piscataway, which in itself is one of my fave towns in NJ and where I sometimes base myself for NYC food tours. Sky Blue are a credit to the community and to women’s football. I’ve enjoyed watching them play on both occasions I’ve seen them. Especially in Rochester where they really came and put on a show away from home. They are one of the most heralded women’s teams in the game and I could not support them any more than I do. They won the first women’s championship in 2007 and their tickets are cheap. Cheap enough even for me to go and see them play which is saying something. I’m cheap too by the way. Hint hint. Wink.

NJ’s Sky Blue is one of the mainstays of women’s professional soccer. Even when the league took a year off, Sky Blue held camps and events, continuing to serve the community. They are one of the winningest programs in the league, having won the league’s inaugural championship back in 2007. Their dearth of ticket plans are very affordable and their reach could be pretty widespread from their central location in the state of NJ. Tailgates and other activities are fun for the kids, and the garden is a fun vantage point for the adults to watch a game. The Sky Blue tries to be everybody’s team, marketing to anyone and everyone who has an interest. Hopefully though, their reemergence in 2013 will afford them the opportunity to gain a more dedicated core JERSEY fan base. Many big names have played for the club in the past.
