Conveniently located near our house. Staffs are friendly and eager to help. Never had parking issues. All in all my favorite grocery store! Love it!

I come here a lot! A couple tips about Trader Joe’s in general: 1. Careful with the produce. It tends to go bad, FAST. And sometimes is in the process of going bad. Especially bagged green things. 2. Cheap nuts yeeeeeeeah! 3. Cheap cheese and butter and dairy in general yeeeeeah! This TJ’s in particular: If you want to survive the parking lot, just assume that everyone else driving has zero situational awareness. Come at non-peak hours if you can! Store tends to be well-organized and clean. Employees seem happy, and are always nice and friendly. I often go to this one instead of El Cerrito, even though EC is closer. Not sure why. Heh.

I have had a few things from here. Mainly the premade salads and they are always better than the Safeway ones with fewer calories. The confetti rice in the frozen isle is good too.

I almost don’t want to let people know how fantastic this particular TJ’s is… It’s already such a popular spot! That said, even on its busiest days I still manage to find a parking spot up front and I have never waited more than 10 minutes in line! And that’s on the busiest day! Unlike Berkeley and Emeryville stores, I always find what I’m looking for and if I can’t, the super friendly staff is more than willing to accommodate. A shout out to the new manager Carlo for going above and beyond. LOVE this Trader Joes.

Always able to find what I need most of the time. Especially for meal prep time! And I love their shirts it always has one of my favorite flowers on it. I just hate when it’s busy like most places lines can get crazyyyyy. And the people are usually super cranky. But the employees are always so pleasant and helpful. Don’t go as much because it’s not near me.

I have only come here a handful of times and every time that I do the service here is always great! There are at least 2 – 3 different people who come up to you asking you if need help looking for anything and then they double check the answer to that question when you check out at the register. I love trader joes for all the organic options and gluten free options they have. They also have one of a kind food items that only can be found here. Everything is good quality and fresh when you eat it. This place can get pretty busy since this is the only trader joes in the area(the next closest one is in el cerrito) so with it being busy the shared parking situation here not ideal but it’s not impossible either. Yes things can get expensive here but it’s well worth it!

SUPER friendly and helpful staff and not to mention all the goodies they sell here makes this grocery store a must! The only downside is that the parking lot gets a little bit crazy, but most TJ’s parking lots are always crazy no matter what location. I love the quality of their fruits, veggies and other groceries. I love their pre-made salads and soups. The pre-cut fruits are almost always deliciously sweet and it’s less than a mile away from home for me. I LOVE this place.

Convenient exit off the freeway, friendly service, and phenomenal selection! I especially enjoy their frozen gnocchi and cookie butter! I find myself purchasing these items repeatedly from various Trader Joe’s chains. Produce is fresh, and snack selection is both unique and delicious. Unfortunately, I don’t frequent Trader Joe’s often because I live on the other side of the toll bridge, but if I was closer, this would be my go-to grocery store!

Of course Trader Joe’s is awesome we just wish there was one here in Vacaville so we didn’t have to go so far to find one.

This is a great Trader Joe’s. We shop at Trader Joe’s almost exclusively for groceries. We worked up to that over a few years from road trip food. We’ve found that the ready to heat and serve meals, entrees and the convenient prepared items like cut or chopped veggies are great all on their own but my Jane has found some very fun ways to combine foods from here and make wonderful meals. These neighborhood markets have their customer base taken care of in product and service. The employees(crew members) are genuinely friendly and helpful. This Pinole store is a cut above most other Trader Joe’s in a few ways. The first step in the door is open clean and inviting. Bright and colorful not glaring or bright. The cleanliness runs throughout including the bathrooms. Everything is organized and easy to shop. Of course if you don’t find something just ask, these people love showing you how well they know their store.

Since moving further east on the I-80, this has become our Trader Joe’s location. The store itself is a great place. I most particularly appreciate and enjoy the little kid-sized carts, to keep my toddler occupied on our shopping excursions. It is stocked well, and the staff here are helpful and courteous. You can’t beat Trader Joe’s fine offerings of foods, and at such great prices. The only challenging thing about this Trader Joe’s location is the tight parking spaces; this place is madness in the early evenings, and can turn an otherwise quick and easy shopping trip into a challenging, patience-testing endeavor. Do yourself a favor and come during low-peak hours, if at all possible.

I love this TJ’s! The staff here is so friendly and helpful, they are always willing to answer any questions about products and ingredients. The aisles are a little small but still relatively easy to navigate vs. other TJ’s. The only fault would be the zoo of a parking lot in this entire shopping center but that’s not their fault, just be warned. Some of my favorite things to pick up include Chicago style popcorn, southwestern bbq chicken salad, chicken marsala(refrigerated section), seasonal flowers/plants, Swiss cheese croissants, and Jameson($ 22 a bottle, can’t beat this price!)

As TJ’s go, this store is not terrible, but nothing special. Pretty much the same products as all the others, so the only areas I can rate are inventory, customer service and location. I tend to shop after the rush hour, they are frequently out of stock on a number standard items — their inventory manager obviously isn’t proactive. Bob the wine guy has been moved to Concord, so that’s a big disappointment — he always had great recommendations for inexpensive and unusual wines. I have been in the express lane 3 times these last few weeks, and every time I’m stuck behind someone with WAY more than 15 items. When you mention to the checker, they give you attitude. In general, the staff is not very friendly, unlike my old Millbrae and So. S.F. stores where they were awesome. If you’re shopping late afternoon, early evening, or weekends, the parking lot is a NIGHTMARE. Very crowded, terrible flow, insufficient parking(ok, this isn’t TJ’s fault). Used to love shopping at TJ’s, but have really cut back — now I go there strictly for party items and wine. So many times they bring in great products, only to discontinue them not long after. When I shop I expect consistency so I don’t have to drive to another store for the missing items on my list. Unfortunately TJ’s has been wasting my time for too long.

Tj’s is my go to place for grocery shopping when I miss our weekend runs to Costco. Usual grocery pick ups are eggs, bananas, onions, almond milk, spinach and other random stuff that catches my eye. Sometimes I leave here with more stuff than I anticipate which I’m sure happens to everyone. Customer service here is pretty right on target except times when I get a cashier that’s not all there. I had couple of instances where the cashier would stuff my bag with so much stuff, the handles would break off right when I leave Tj’s. Parking here can also be tricky on the weekends and weeknights during the hours between 5pm-8pm. What’s also great about Tj’s is they come out with their tasty treats during the holidays. One of my favorites is the dark chocolate shortbread stars!
