Amazing!!! My daughter found out at the last minute that her prom date did not purchase her a corsage. We were in Hercules getting her makeup done and I needed to find a florist ASAP!!! We don’t live in the surrounding area and I had no clue how I was going to pull this off. Thanks to Stems & Petals, they came up on Unilocal with 5-​star reviews; I called immediately. Pierette was awesome!!! She heard my cry and she came to the rescue. Thank you so much for your quick response. You did an amazing job and the kids looked great.

I hired Pierette to do the flowers for my wedding and I was so glad I went with her! She was really easy to work with, quick to respond and worked within my budget. She was on top of everything the day of the wedding and I didn’t have to worry about anything related to the flowers. The bouquets and boutonnieres turned out beautiful! We used Stems and Petals for our wedding in 2006. Pierette is amazing and the flowers went above and beyond our expectations! She even added centerpieces at the last minute when we realized we couldn’t do them ourselves! You will NOT be disappointed.

Pierrette did the flowers for my wedding last month and she did an amazing job! My husband and I were initially hesitant to spend money on flowers at all but Pierrette was very understanding of our budget and had helpful suggestions to give us what we wanted for a price we could afford. She offered several different types of flowers for the centerpieces and let us choose based on the style and price we were comfortable with. For my bouquet, I wanted white peonies with purple accents and she made an arrangement better than I imagined. Although, she did have to substitute some roses for peonies because they weren’t quite in season – not her fault though. Overall, I was very happy with my bouquet and centerpieces and would recommend her to anyone in the area.

A long overdue review for Pierrette at Stems and Petals in Pinole. Pierrette is super artistic, understanding and professional, full of creative ideas, and very helpful when it comes to all the budget and design questions that seem to revolve around wedding flowers. Her email follow-​up throughout the whole process was great, and she was easy to talk to and full of suggestions and examples when my mom and I met her in person. She took the foggy ideas for a fall wedding of corals, greens and browns and made some of the most beautiful and long-​lasting arrangements and bouquets I’ve ever seen — full of great ideas that were beautiful and unique without being just being different for different’s sake.
When it turned out we couldn’t work out one of the plans that we originally discussed, she came up with a way to make the same idea work on a smaller scale, and she offered three different centerpiece ideas on the same theme at different price points to work with us on the budget side of things. She even worked in a way to use pumpkins in the fall without giving things a hoe-​down sort of feel. When the big day came she was super organized and thought of all the little details (like ribbon and extra boutonniers for the guys) and gave us plenty of time to get the rented items back to her. One of my bridesmaids kept her bouquet and it still looks great dried six months later!
I highly recommend Pierrette’s work for any event. :)

Stems and Petals was the florist for my wedding in October 2010. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful job Pierrette did, and what a pleasure she was to work with. All of the bouquets were amazing – they looked even more beautiful than I ever imagined they would. Pierrette was professional and friendly, organized, and had great recommendations to complement the ideas I had about what I wanted my wedding flowers to look like. She worked within my budget and never pushed me to go out of that range. I highly recommend her!

Pierrette did all the floral arrangements for my wedding. She’s super accommodating and can truly work wonders with any budget. She did such a great job at my wedding that my sister hired her for her wedding. My wedding bouquet was beautiful and the one she made for me at my sister’s wedding was even more stunning!!! I was a little jealous that my matron of honor bouquet was prettier than my wedding bouquet. But that just shows how talented Pierrette is. She’s really artistic and unique. You won’t be disappointed!

I chose Stems and Petals for my wedding back in May 2007. Since then I have recommended Pierrette several times to friends and family and often go back to her for my floral needs.
Pierrette is professional, she responded to my communication quickly and helped me stay within my budget while getting the look I was wanting to accomplish for my wedding.
Her vast knowledge of flowers, design and color palette are extraordinary. I had some very specific requests and she pulled them off flawlessly. She definitely goes the extra mile for her customers. I remember walking through my wedding and reception site prior to the ceremony starting and saying to myself, «This is exactly what I wanted.»

Stems and Petals was responsible for making my wedding in October 2005 look magnificent. Let me start off by saying that I was a very hands on bride– Not exactly a «bridezilla”– but I just wanted it the way I wanted it. :)
During the initial consultation, Pierrette took the extra time to find out which flowers had special significance to me and she made intelligent suggestions about flowers that were in season and those that would complement the location of the wedding, which was on Mare Island.
She created beautiful bouquets tastefully delivered in a woven basket. The autumn-​inspired table arrangements incorporated around the towering hurricane candle lanterns made the tables look so elegant at our outdoor evening reception. One of my favorite elements were the gorgeous eucalyptus pew wreaths that reflected the eucalyptus in the grove outside the chapel.
I have used her business several times since my wedding. I don’t see any reason to order flowers from over-​priced, over-​advertised copy cat floral providers. Pierrette gets it done beautifully, efficiently and affordably.

I used Stems and Petals for my wedding in August 2008. Stems and Petals was a Faculty Club recommended vendor. I had contacted many florists but few would work with the budget I had. Pierrette not only worked with me, but she gave me a range of prices and options for the bouquets and arrangements so I could decide if I wanted to go high-​end or low-​end or somewhere in-​between. Having done a lot of events on the Berkeley campus, she was quite sure on how to pull off the blue and gold theme we were looking for. The pictures of her past work were gorgeous and her flower ideas for my wedding sounded so beautiful, I hired her shortly after meeting her. Also, included in her price was a free tossing bouquet, an extra groom boutonnière and free use of her two vases and stands for the ceremony.
I thought our flowers turned out gorgeous. I loved my bouquets. The flower girl bouquets she made were the cutest things! She delivered our personal flowers at my house right on time and the ceremony flowers were set-​up well before I arrived. Another big factor in hiring her was that she was located the next town over from my parents in Pinole. Her house was a little over 10 minutes away so it made returning the vases and stands a snap! I love local vendors.
Her bouquets are still sitting in my house looking almost as fresh as the day they arrived — four days later!
