When your on the go grab some nuggets and two tacos for 99 cent, son! This is actually one of the best jacks I’ve been to. Four stars for service.

One of the closest Jack in the cracks near my house. Located in Pinole Valley. My first visit here was when I was in high school well over 15 years ago. When I would order bacon cheddar potato wedges and tacos. I still love both till this day. I love the way JB’s menu evolves and there’s always something new to try. The late night munchies meals is the best idea ever. This location is tricky to get to depending from what direction your coming from. There is a sharp u turn you must make. Other than that. I can never remember ever just having horrible service. Maybe slow at times but that comes with fast food. You never know what the person ahead of you ordered.

Wish I could choose less then one star. Yuk! This place is awful. Fries were burnt, onion rings are dried out and black pepper burger was flavorless.

I usually only come here really late at night(11PM-1AM) when I’m having cravings, which is cool since many places aren’t open. It’s really just out of convenience that I come here. However, I find that the graveyard shift staff is negligent in comparison to the day shift staff. They barely ever get my order right, and when I ask for a certain dipping sauce, I either don’t get it, or they give me something else. I guess beggars can’t be choosers, right? When you’re hungry, you’re hungry. I just wish they paid more attention.

Boo! It supposed to be drive tru but what the hell? Hella slow on taking our orders and when we got on the window we still wait for about 10 – 15 mins are you f*cking serious? If I were you avoid this jack in the box specially in the morning super slow.

Please I beg you to avoid this jack in the crack location. Hubby was hungry and wanted some jitc. Since the Pinole location is on the way home, we lined up and waited. Took a few minutes for the order taker to acknowledge us and another 7 – 10 min to take our order and at this point, three cars behind us got feed up and left. Hubby got feed up and asked if they were ready to take our order and heard someone who sounded high on the other end finally took our order. We got to the window and paid for our order and I swear the two guys working there looked like a couple of meth heads and on something. Seriously, just avoid this place and go to the hercules location.

FYI: this review is for JITB in Hercules drive through #147. 7÷24÷2014. 9:12pm. My apologies Pinole JITB, but it seems that there is no JITB listed on Unilocal. I figured this feedback will find its way home somehow. GOOD: Good fast courteous service. Thus 2stars. UGLY: I ordered #7 cheesesteak melt combo and it was completely disappointing. Nothing at all as good as the picture made me drool. Yeah i know, I didn’t expect for it to look just like the picture of course, but it didn’t look like it ATALL. When I unwrapped it, it looked like two pieces of toasted bread sealed together. Not exactly the thick stuffed steak, cheese and veggies I expected to see tempting me. Bread was over toasted… slightly burnt. Sauce was soggy dripping like salad dressing. There were white onions but the green and red diced peppers were almost nonexistent. Even worse, the meat was the worst part of it all. 3 bites out of 5 felt as though I was chewing on rubber bands. I had to spit it out and eventually stopped eating it all together and ended up cooking something something else to eat. Tired and hungry. Bad experience.

Maybe it’s the crew at certain hours but the drive thru person seemed confused when asked to add a fried egg to a sourdough jack! Mind you, we’ve ordered this before at the same location and never had any issue. The crew isn’t as friendly as other places and they’re not very organized. They’ve missed some items in orders several times.

I’m on the fence with this place. I can remember a handful of years ago when it was a great place to grab a quick bite to eat. Now, it takes about 20 minutes for someone to even get their food, and that’s with only one or two cars in front of them. It’s almost like they use this location for training and have no normal employees.

The ice coffee sucks, I rolled through the drive through and ordered it, expecting it to be somewhat like McD’s ice coffee. They couldn’t or were unwilling to change the amount of cream and sweetener in the coffee. So what I got was milky sugary cream with a slight taste of coffee. The«medium» was like a Starbucks tall too, ever small and mostly ice. That’s ok thought, because it was so bad I had to just throw it away after a couple of sips. The food items here are decent, but avoid the ice coffee!

im being generous with the two, because the drive thru person was nice. Tacos shells were not crispy and way too much sauce. I love the onion rings they had before, this new way has way too much batter, then again its the frozen onion rings. The the steak melt looked like a kindergardener had a go in assembling the sandwich, it was a mess. what you see is not what you get…

The last time I went to this Jack in the Crack(that is an accepted term now, isn’t it?), they were very friendly in the drive thru. They even charged me separately for a bun, egg, and cheese, because it was cheaper than charging me for the sandwich with meat. Wow Jack! I’m impressed. Next time you are coming from hung over and don’t want to risk pouring cereal without Milk, stop by here.

Jack in the Box in general is pretty good. They have cheap prices, and I like their fastfood. But this location in particular is not so great. I went over here afterschool, only to find the inside filled with loud, obnoxious people. It was HOT, no A/C, and the sun was just blazing down. They need some blinds or something. Customer service was not even that good. They take your order in the most irritated manner. Food was good as usual, but we had to take it to go if we really wanted to enjoy it. Blah. Stars are really only for the food.

Jack’s Customer Service Skills Need to Be Resuscitated, STAT! SITREP GAH! «24HR» it is NOT! I really don’t want to go «HATIN» on JACK. Me and the Jack at this locale have had a strong mutually beneficial relationship going back almost 15 years. He’s been there for me to help with the post-SF Clubbing munchies as my carpool — or myself solo — go trekking back on that(seemingly) long drive to Sacramento. From Breakfast Jacks, 2 for $ 1 Tacos, and the occasional Sourdough combo, Jack has satisfied the internal combustion needs of my system just as much as the Chevron next door satisfies the gas tank of my vehicle. But… «IFITSAYS24HRSYOUSHOULDBEFREAKINOPEN!» …this is the 3rd time in a row that I’ve hit the Pinole Valley Jack-in-the-Box between the hours of 3am and 4:00am and YOU(Jack) have been closed! Some shit-poor excuse of conducting«system maintenance». Well guess what — if you SAY you are open«24HRS» but you are CLOSED consistently between the hours of 3am-4am, then you are NOT«24HRS», are you? This is not difficult arithmetic to surmise and it’s FALSE advertising to take offline ONE of the most important hours(«3am-4am») that would give you the bragging rights in the first place to SAY you are actually open«24HRS.» Change your freakin sign to «OPEN23HRS» and employ a bit more truth in advertising. THELOWDOWN Your customer service SUCKS when you advertise one thing, but then you don’t step up to the plate to meet YOUROWN advertising.,

I just don’t know why there’s so much dislike about this place. I’ve had nothing but good stuff in my belly =) Service here has been great! Food is good, nothing to really complain about. It’s fast food & the best around town. I usually come here when I’m feeling broke. I get the 2 tacos for .99¢ & the chicken sandwich for .99¢ & if I want to splurge I add a tomato for .10 extra. Woohoo!

Nothing particularly bad about this specific Jack, but my recent burger here was so uninspired that I have decided to add Jack to my banned list of fast food places that just are subpar. I actually thought the regular fries were pretty good, but the jumbo jack with cheese was real sad and the cheese seemed fake. The interior of this establishment was new and clean, but can’t make up for poor food. Jack, Mc, BK, Bell, are now all banned. We need more Wendy’s in the world!

I really can’t complain about my local Jack In The Box. Well, I can… but why? Here are the reasons why I won’t complain… (1) The drive-thru is open when I need it to be(after hours on a weekend) (2) They get my order right… but even if they didn’t I would still eat it because greasy foods sure taste good after a night of drinking (3) They don’t give me dirty looks when I ask for extra buttermilk (4) They always say thank you and wish me a good night. That’s pretty darn cheerful for having to work the wee hours of the night. I, on the other hand, would not be so cheerful. As long as Jack In The Box continues to stay open 24 hours on the weekends and doesn’t give me a reason to really complain, I’ll go back… once in a while.
