I am so impressed! I have been going to Dr. Grimes for 2 years now. For years I have had lots of different pain in my feet and Dr. Grimes has helped treat all of the pain. I have even
broken and dislocated my little toe which was extremely painful. Dr. Grimes got me in and X-​rayed my toe, then realigned the toe and constantly watched the toe and X-​rayed it more
than once and today that little toe is the straighest toe of all 10 or my toes.
I sometimes wonder if I should break and dislocate the other 9 so that they will all be as
straight as that little toe.
I highly recommend Dr. Grimes to all patients who are searching for a podiatrist. He is the
best Podiatrist I have ever had.

I went to dr. Grimes for months never any improvement, he kept on saying it was a sprain. Even when I continued to fall and pain increased. Long story short went to another podiatrist had torn ligaments and now a lot of scar tissue growing on bone. Had to have surgery and open up ankle. Very painful and unnecessary,. My friend had similar experience with him. You make your decision if you want to go to a dr. Like this,. Not me!!!

After my 1 month follow-​up set of xrays for my broken foot; I was told by the Dr. that he couldn’t review the X-​rays with me. I am very concerned about my well being and I appreciate a Dr. who would treat me as if I was someone with whom he shared in my concern. He told me that there were many X-​rays ahead of mine. He told me to come back in a week and I could possibly get a walking cast. Now, mind you, I am still in a lot of pain so I don’t see how that is possible. So I call the office later that day and I am told that he would rather I wait 2 weeks til I come in. Really? I find that out because I called in not because he called me after looking at my xrays. So at this point I am calling the office daily, requesting that he call me and let me know what the X-​rays showed. After 3 days, a weekend and the following Monday I still am not getting a return call from my daily calls. At this point I decide to drive to office to get a copy of the report myself and I have them fax a copy to my primary Dr. I received a call from my primary Dr within 2 hours and we went over the report. Due to the frustration and stress that I received from this office, I will not be back. I am in the process of getting authorization from my insurance to see another Dr that will show a little more concern when I have questions.

I am so impressed! I have lots of bio-​mechanical foot issues, so lots of pain, too many pairs of uncomfortable shoes. Dr. Grimes is smart, he took lots of time explaining to me how to solve my problems. He is a runner, and active. i felt he really cared about helping me stay active and comfortable.
I’m so glad I found him and he is well worth the trip from the oakland hills. Over the years the previous two podiatrists didn’t give me confidence, and certainly haven’t solved my problems! I highly reccomend him.
