William E. «Ed» Taylor was elected to City Council in 1998 and was re-​elected in 2002, 2006, 2010 and 2014. Ed represents our City as a member of the Pinellas Park Water Management District. He has also represented the City on the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority Board of Directors, and the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council. His service to our community and the Tampa Bay area includes past President of the Pinellas Park Historical Society, Pinellas Park Rotary Club, Kiwanis Club of Pinellas Park, Diocesan Board of Catholic Formation & Education, St. Vincent DePaul Society, Knights of Columbus, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A native of Tampa, Ed and his family have lived in Pinellas County since 1964. He is the owner of Taylor Family Funeral Home in Pinellas Park. He is married to the ever understanding & lovely Barbara and they have two sons, John & Bryan, a mostly disagreeable cat named Boulevard and four granddaughters, Landree, Finlee and twins Lily Ann And Ella Grace.
