History
Established in 2011.
I have been fixing photos for many years, but only recently realized I wasn’t reaching far enough. Too many people were throwing photos away because of breakage or fading. I new I needed to open shop and get the word of importance out to people.
When I learned about scrap booking I could not believe it. People were purposely cutting up photos and gluing the in a book. This would be another service I offer. Before cutting them, put them on a disk so they will be saved as a whole picture.
When I realize a new way to preserve the past I make sure I do it. To us at JB effects the is no greater gift for the future than the gift of the past.
Meet the Business Owner
Jimmy B.
Business Owner
I grew up in a little town outside of Youngstown, Ohio. After high school, I joined the Navy and served two deployments during the Persian Gulf War. Upon discharge, I moved to Florida where I settled and started a family. Today, I live in Tampa Bay with my wife and sons, and love the relaxed way of life.
I have always enjoyed being creative and artistic. Over the years, I learned to meld my artistic abilities with computer graphics. I began my career in graphic design by freelancing small jobs such as flyers, business cards and photo editing. As my interest in photo editing emerged, I taught myself to use programs to help me with this, and continued my education with a multi-media degree from ITT Technical Institute.
As a family man and a veteran, I am keenly aware of the irreplaceable value of family photos, home movies, and historical documents. Knowing how important your memories are, I take special care to treat all of your valuables with the finest touch, as if they were my own.
