Dr. Kenny Bumgarner, Dr. Scott Athans, Dr. Michele Keel and Dr. Ralph Hendrix are optometrists offering comprehensive eye examinations for all ages and providing complete optical services including eyewear, sunwear and contact lens options. We specialize in treating and managing all eye diseases and injuries including cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. We also offer vision therapy for all ages through our Center for Visual Learning.

History

Established in 1989.

Dr. Kenny Bumgarner opened Spectrum Eye Center in 1989. We are celebrating 25 years of service to our community! Presently, our practice has four optometrists offering varying specialties from pediatric to geriatric eyecare. Dr. Kenny Bumgarner, Dr. Scott Athans, Dr. Michele Keel, and Dr. Ralph Hendrix.

The staff was great unfortunately I can’t say the rest for D.Athens. From what I was told I had the ability to try different contacts until I found the comfortable one. Dr Athen not only let me try just 2 but got the prescription wrong 2 times didn’t ask me to come back to see how the contact was feeling referred me to a different place to order my contacts when I was ready. I was not ready cause my contact wasn’t the rite strength. What a great way to pass the bucket absolutely hate service like this. I WILL NOT REFEER ANYONE.
