Great hospitality and great location! Hilton never fails me, especially this homewood suites in Pinehurst. Only a few hotels are located in Pinehurst and this is one of those. My son is here to compete in the USKids Teen World event this week at Pinehurst #8, only a few blocks away on Murdocksville Road. Hence the reason I stumbled onto this hotel. We booked early and got two queen beds and a full size sleeper couch. It is only 3 of us and it would comfortably sleep 3 – 4 adults and 2 – 3 children. The room is equipped with a dining table, a stove, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, microwave and dishes. Along with plenty of closets, 2 by the way, and 2 dressers. The separate seating area from the bedroom makes me feel like home. I can even shut the door. Head to the local grocery store around the corner and stock up for the week and stay awhile. The grand reason, beside the location, is the complimentary breakfast and light dinner. Yes, a light dinner spread served with complimentary wine and beer. Ah, yes, the time in between getting off the golf course and getting ready for dinner we can grab a bite to eat. Today we had lobster bisque and pan fried noodles. The early morning practice than off to the tee time, breakfast is the most important meal for us. The buffet style breakfast let’s us choose to stay and enjoy a hot one or to grab and go. Heard you can bring your pets. For a small charge per day. Too bad my pup is at doggie daycare back home. What a way to spend the week. We will be back next year for sure!

Given that Pinehurst is small and options are limited, this isn’t a bad option. Rooms are huge and for the most part clean, but you’ll get nothing out of this hotel but a clean bed to sleep in. Of course, not a bad thing, but for a room with a full kitchen, can I at least have some bottles of water to drink? Basic amenities — soap, shampoo and lotion and that’s about it. Don’t expect much from this place, but you can expect a clean room. If you’re staying for a night or two, this is a good option. If you’re looking for a week long stay, just stop at a Walmart along the way.

Stayed here for 4 Nights for a business conference at Pinehurst since they were sold out. Decent breakfast and managers reception(dinner) was a great bonus. Staff was outstanding and helpful. Will definitely stay here if I am back in town.

I stayed here for the first two days of a five day golf/conference trip. The front desk experience was very nice. I was treated with true Southern hospitality with a detailed explanation of the facility and surrounding area. The room was spacious and comfortable. Not high end mind you but enough space to relax(small kitchenette, living space with large screen TV, big bedroom and nice bathroom area). The location is great especially if you are golfing. Overall this was a great facility, great location and great price!

Recently stayed for 3 nights. Room had refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, stove top and microwave. It was stocked with dishes and even paper towels. Room was very clean. Room was a suite; reasonably priced. Breakfast was decent — waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, eggs and either bacon or sausage(depending on day). 1 day had biscuits and gravy. Between 5 and 7PM they have a light dinner. I saw barbecue pork, chicken fingers which were hard and salad along with beer/wine. All included. Outside pool looked OK. Workout room was average. Needed free weights. Staff was very friendly.

I was upgraded to a beautiful room. The a/c didn’t seem to work as good as I would expect but the room was still very nice. They had a manager’s reception dinner each night during the week which was actually decent food.

Update from 2009 review. We stayed here for 3 nights recently and found the hotel to be an entirely new experience. It has been completely remodeled, new everything! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Good free breakfast and dinners. We’ll definitely be back!

Recently attended a funeral in this area and needed a hotel room in a hurry. We booked and stayed at this Homewood property. Although the facility is @15 years old, the lobby and common areas have been updated and maintained, exterior has recently been painted and our room was both updated and quite clean. We drove through the night, arriving at the hotel @5:00 am, slept for a few hours, attended the funeral and slept a few more hours before departing. Most hotels would have charged us for two nights but hotel staff charged for only one. Business travel puts us in hotels @200 nights per year and the urge to Unilocal about bad ones generally wins out over the good ones. This property deserves a look and definitely deserves our continued business. Good spot!

Okay hotel, I did not encounter any cleaning issues, though they have«non-smoking» rooms on the same floor as smoking rooms… kinda stupid. Location is great and staff is not very helpful. I can’t say I’d go out of my way to stay here again… but I can say the room is huge and everything you could need is here.

Come on Homewood I have seen better! The staff is lackadaisical. They need a new American flag. ADA — I wish you good luck, no automatic doors. Ok…Odd odor from room when we walked in, shower head dumped water from bottom of fixture, glassware in room was very dirty. Had to switch rooms. Staff seemed to do what ever they pleased, may it be getting food or coffee while guest were eating.
