My review is of the ER at First Health, as I have first hand experience. I showed up on a Monday morning and told the receptionist I was having chest pain. She responded immediately, pushed a button on her phone console and told me someone would be right with me. Before my wife, who had dropped me at the front door and gone to park, could get back, I was assisted by a nurse with a wheelchair and rolled into the ER. The nurse announced to the room at large«CHESTPAIN» and everyone went into a pre-planned routine. I was diagnosed with a heart attack within minutes and quickly transported to the cath lab where Dr. David Cowherd put in a stint. It had been less than 15 minutes since I walked in the front door.
