Chill-N Nitrogen Ice Cream

I love ice cream… I love this place. So tasty… so creamy… heaven. And the staff is a well oiled machine, very professional considering the traffic. If u get there and the line is out the door, WAIT, it goes by quick and worth the wait.

My husband loves this place. Me not so much. Although the ice cream is good (I have never had bad ice cream hahahaha), I think is a bit overpriced. We ordered a large with two toppings and it was $ 6.82. Overpriced or not, this place is always packed. The Lines are long and a bit slow, not too bad though. I would recommend if you are looking to try something new.

The ice cream is awesome my only complaint and the only reason for not 5 stars is the dust all over the nitrogen tanks that you stare at while waiting in line, there was actual clumps of dust and hair near the on off valve at the top, even the shirt that is hanging in the wall is really dusty

Fun concept and well-​implemented! We first heard of liquid nitrogen ice cream places in LA last month but didn’t get to try one, so I’m glad we got the opportunity to try this Florida mini-​chain. The ice cream is deliciously smooth and rich and creamy and very dense, so what looks like a normal-​sized ice cream cup takes a little while to eat (thus, good portion size for your money as long as you don’t get many mix-​ins). Now I wish we had one of these in Austin!

Their ice cream is always so creamy and rich, love it! First pick froyo or ice cream, then pick your flavor, followed by your add ins. There are many unique toppings to choose from, including Krispy Kreme donuts! Their brownie add in is heavenly fyi
Perfect for late night, lunch, or breakfast. (Basically go whenever they’re open, you won’t regret it! Sub a meal for a chill n ice cream, very worth hehe)

This place is amazing. I love the vibe of the people there. Everyone’s always friendly and polite despite the sometimes long lines.
The price is affordable for the upscale ice-​cream you’re getting, the flavors and toppings are delicious.
There’s really no reason for you to miss out on this really delicious dessert-​stop with a convenient location and great overall experience.

Someone explain the excitement to me.
I went with two friends. The cost was over $ 24. The portions are small. The ice cream is pretty much like anyone else’s premium ice cream. There is almost no seating, and the place is cramped. It’s noisy.
The ice cream was fine, but I would be just as happy with a Dairy Queen Blizzard. Even the insanely expensive mom and pop place down the street from me gives you more for your money.

Peanut butter + chocolate yogurt + chocolate chips is truly amazing! The yogurt is creamier and more flavorful than anywhere I’ve ever been. Worth the long line wait!

Chill-​N is the TRUTH. Wow! So good. The ice cream is really fresh, and when you add a flavor, it really tastes like that flavor. This is my favorite ice cream place hands down.
The staff is also very friendly and patient. I take the kids and sometimes they are a bit undecided on what they want. Even though this place is always packed, none of the employees make you feel rushed or give you the usual huff, puff, eye roll you get in other places. Always happy to help and explain. I emailed the owners to compliment their staff and they responded very quickly.
Forget the imitators. Need more locations in Kendall.

I am obsessed. It is basically heaven on earth. The ice cream is perfect. It is the best I have ever had. They have perfected the art of making the creamiest, most well sweetened, and smoothest ice cream on earth. The texture is unique. It has a texture similar to cold peanut. You can flip your cup upside down and it’ll still stay where it is. You can form perfect little peaks like well made meringue. The best part is that it melts in your mouth. It has the delectable velvety qualities of soft serve and it’s not too rich.
Bottom line is that it is perfect.
The line is always out of the shop everytime I come no matter what time of day. The incredible thing is that no matter how long the line is, I have never waited more than 15 minutes. Their service is as efficient as it gets.
The only downsides are the size and price. Their shop is minuscule and I always feel claustrophobic when I am waiting. There are three little tables and a few chairs. They would definitely benefit from a larger location. At $ 4.55 for a regular and $ 0.60 for each mix in, the prices are pretty high, but after a bite I don’t mind as much anymore. The price is alright. They just should keep it there and offer some specials from time.
Besides that, Chill’N is perfect. I love it. Plus one of the owners is a Gator. That is always a splendid thing. Go Gators! Go Chill’N!

Not your typical ice cream shop. They use a process to freeze the ice cream as it gets mixed w whatever options you choose upon ordering. Try the Nutella frozen yogurt w the Krispy Kreme donut mix in.

Place is awesome! Always seen it when picking up pizza in the plaza. Always thought nothing special of it. Till I tired it. The consistency of the Ice Cream is soo smooth and creamy. Definitely would recommend this to everyone!

Okay! I apparently ordered the wrong thing on my first visit! I’ve returned to Chill N Nitrogen and this time I ordered peanut butter ice cream with bananas and chocolate chips! It was heavenly! This concoction allowed me to experience the creamy taste everyone raves about, and I’m now a fan! I apologize for referring to your ice cream as gimmicky! I love it as much as I love my Haagen Daz!

Ok so there’s ice cream and then there’s ICE CREAM. Word of advice: make the long line, it’s worth it. What you’ll get? The creamiest ice cream you’ve probably ever had. You first select the size you’d like and whether you want ice cream or yogurt, personally I go for ice cream, I mean it’s in their name! Next select your flavor, my favorite is the dulce de leche. Want toppings? Well you’ll get to pick from a wonderful selection including Nutella, Krispy Kreme (yup Donuts!), cinnamon toast crunch among many others. All ingredients are then thrown together in the magical nitrogen machine, which is way fun to watch, and your delicious concoction is served. Enjoy!

When you walk in, you get the Cold Stone-​meets-​Chemistry vibe in here. You see the large periodic table of ice cream flavors and toppings and the mystifying smoke that looms over the workstation as the workers mix-​in your chosen «reaction». It’s a pretty cool concept, and no worries, the nitrogen does not alter the taste!
My favorite reaction: Rv + Mw + Ctc + Cd (Red Velvet + Marshmallow + Captain Crunch + Cookie Dough). The perfect amount of sweetness (it’s not too sweet so the mix-​ins have their moments to shine), fluffiness, velvet smoothness, and crunch (I’m a fan of texture in ice cream). Try it! You’ll thank me later.
I’m surprised the place is still standing, because it’s hidden in a low-​key plaza. Every time I’ve been to this Chill’N, I feel like it’s the only place that’s still «alive». They say location is key to a good business. I’m not fond of the location, especially at night, but then it makes it a hole-​in-​the-​wall dessert place — Chill’N truly stands out!

Hypothesis: After one bite, you’ll keep coming back for more.
Procedure: First, you choose your size, then base (ice cream or yogurt,) flavor, and then your mix-​ins. Then, they take it to the nitrogen mix station, and voilà!
Conclusion: After carefully collecting all the data, we are definitely coming back for more!

Krispy Kreme, Pop Tarts, Cinnamon Toast Crunch… no, it’s not breakfast, it’s some of the AMAZING toppings at Chill-​N. My friend absolutely adores this place and took us, and now I’m hooked. I’m just glad it’s not within close proximity to me because I’d be rolling!
I hated Chemistry but I’m pretty good at reading this periodic table of flavors! And I know nitrogen + food= amazingness! What other formula do you possibly need?! You choose a base– go with the ice cream, if you’re eating this ice cream do it right. And then proceed to choose your flavor and mix ins. The ice cream is some of the creamiest I’ve had– I can almost see them milking the cow as I savor every bite! You can choose a cornucopia of mix ins, depending what strikes your fancy that day, or look at some of their recent concoctions up on the board when you walk in.
It is a small place and it gets packed on the weekends; but I just see it as a way to examine how many flavorful combinations I can come up with!

I have been waiting so long for good ice cream in Miami. I have never been a fan of Cold Stone or Marble Slab & Dairy Queen just hasn’t awed my taste buds in about 15 years. I had heard good things about this place & their gimmick seemed pretty cool.
We went on a week night & it was packed! This place brings in a lot of people but the line moves surprisingly fast. I went with a Nutella ice cream & some Oreo & Nams Bits cookies as the toppings. Watching them make it in front of me with the Nitrogen mix bowls was really cool.
Once it was served my taste buds were exploding in Nitrogen heaven. After finishing off the last bite I thought of how great it was & within a week I returned for another just to see if the consistency was on point. I was not disappointed!
The pricing is on par with the other ice cream places & the portions are large enough to share.
Would I recommend this place? Yes! They had me at «Nutella» lol
