In addition to your sweets we offer the following services:

Delivery, Rental of Stands and Platters, Set Up and Styling.

History

Established in 2011.

In May 2011, Catalina’s Bake Shop was founded… why Catalina’s and not Maria’s? I not only dreamt of having a bake shop but also of one day loving a daughter named Catalina… it did not happened… so I name it in honor of the daughter I did not have.

I started small, I subleased a commercial kitchen and started baking on a per order basis… thanks to our growing and pleased clientele we opened our own store at Biltmore Way, Coral Gables in July 2012. Today we are proud to offer our desserts at many local restaurants and hotels as well as take custom orders for our loyal clientele.

Hi there! My name is Maria Cecilia Ortiz. I am a Peruvian married to a Nicaraguan and mother of 3 boys and 1 girl (Catalina).

Baking has been my passion ever since I can remember! so in May 2011, I founded Catalina’s Bake Shop and we have been baking non stop ever since!

Thanks to our growing clientele we recently moved our shop from Coral Gables to a bigger space in Pinecrest, FL.

As a mother of 4 I am constantly searching for the «Balance» in my life… this is why at this point we are only «Baking by Order». You can visit us during our business hours and we will gladly provide you information and samples to try!
