BBQ Express

yikes. what a dining tradgedy. this was some of the worst bbq i have ever eaten. my wife and i love good bbq and have traveled down south just to try really good bbq. we have wanted to try this place since it opened a couple of months ago. we finally decided to go for it todaty and we are both sorry that we did.
i had the brisket hero with a side of fries. the fries were good. the brisket wasnt. it was old, dry and flavorless. for bbq sauce i was given a thick sauce that had to be sweet baby rays. i love sweet baby rays, at home, not at a bbq place where i expect to have a homemade sauce created by the chef. it was aweful.
my wife had the ribs. forget about low and slow. these were hard and cold. she would have had an easier time eating a piece of jerky. very light flavor, but overall not good at all. neither meat had spent much time in a smoker or bbq pit, that’s for sure. her ribs came with a side of macaroni salad that had that color of sitting around for too long so she wouldn’t eat it. i tried it. it was completly flavorless.
i’m not even to go into detail about the horrible décor, insanely long wait (the place was empty), and the very awrkward wait service.
overall terrible. this place should go back to being a plant store.(what it formally was)
