History

Established in 2005.

The Schwartzwald Motel was built in the 1940s right on Highway 61. It started out as a site with small log cabins, with a wash house in the center. Through the years, the motel changed owners with rebuilding and updates, always remaining a small, family owned business. In 2005, the name was changed by the current owners, and all the rooms have been remodeled.
