I’m sad to say service has really gone down here. I ordered 2 greek salads for delivery last week and was sent ranch dressing. In their defense I didn’t specify but greek salad to me does not equal ranch. Usually it’s house or greek.
I decided to give them another chance today but did pick up to ensure the right dressing. My husband told them about the dressing incident and got a slight «sorry» but that was it. He picked up our pizza and salad and came home. The pizza crust was rock hard. My 2yo who loves pizza couldn’t even eat it. It was also cold and the cheese was already congealed… we literally live 2 blocks away. Very sad as their pizza used to have to much flavor and taste like the big floppy NY style pizza.
Last time we will be spending money there :(

During football season, we’ll order from Vito’s more than a half dozen times. It’s close by our house for pickup at halftime (they now deliver, but it can take a long time for your food to arrive), it’s consistent, and decent for carry out subs, pizza and the like. Nothing spectacular, nothing to avoid, but you really need to check your order before you leave. A steak sub with no cheese came marked Provolone. And sure enough, it had provolone. I’m glad they labeled everything so I could avoid the drive back and miss part of the game.

Jesus this place sucks, no wonder it’s going out of business. Pizza sits out in the open all day not fresh at all. Menu is cute and unique but if only it translated into the food! Will not be back.

I just ordered from Vito’s for the first time. The veggie pizza is excellent! It has the right balance of sauce and cheese (I hate huge rubbery globs of cheese on my pizza), all of the veggies are chopped and spread evenly so you don’t end up with a huge chunk of broccoli or slice of tomato sliding into your mouth, and the thin crust is perfectly cooked. On top of that, the customer service was excellent. I will definitely order from Vito’s Gourmet again!

I arrived at the pizza place and waited while the order taker took a phone order, never acknowledging my existence. When he was finally ready, I ordered a Italian Cheesesteak with everything, but no hots. The order taker questioned me on if I knew what that order consisted of, which since this wasn’t my first time, yes I did. I then paid and stood around waiting for my sub, which took forever since the cook making it never called my name or number to tell me it was ready. I only got my sub when I went up and asked him if the sub on the counter was mine.
The service here is RUDE and unprofessional, the food is fair. Next time I will go to firehouse subs or try Mike’s, which is new to the area before returning to an establishment that doesn’t value its customers.

Love Vito’s pizza! Thin crust all the way! Many varieties by the slice. They will make salads with romaine instead of iceberg for a slight up charge. Great neighborhood reliable pizza and pasta spot. Not much atmosphere but who cares!

This place usually looks empty, but I’m not sure why. The pizza here is pretty delicious and the staff is nice. I enjoyed eating here.
