I purchased two Living Social deals to to laser hair treatment. If I had it to do over again, I would NOT have chosen this doctor. First, scheduling was a challenge. I called in November to schedule my first appointment, and they couldn’t get me in until January because they were so busy with all of the LS deals they sold.(Yet, the next week, they had the same deal on Groupon!) There are limited hours and days available for laser, so I ended up having to take a half day off work for every treatment. Second, the desk staff is not a joy to work with. The two women who work the desk make you feel like any question you have is either dumb or a hassle for them to deal with. You see them roll their eyes on the phone with people or after clients leave the office, and they are not proactive in telling you important things you need to know. Third, the atmosphere is very unprofessional and flippant. I had my bikini area done, which meant I needed to strip from the waist down. 4 out of the 6 times, I had to actively request a paper gown to cover myself while waiting. People go in and out of doors with little or no warning, even though the rooms open up into the hallway where there are males walking around and a window into the lobby. Fourth, I was never told there was an option for numbing the area ahead of time. This lead to the most traumatic experience of my life — it felt like someone was repeatedly violating me by sticking a 6″ needle into my pelvis. I was sobbing in pain, and after I got myself together, a manager told me she would cal me in a couple of days to make sure I was okay — that never happened. They did tell me that I could come in 20 minutes early to each appointment and have a numbing cream applied — that made ALL the difference in the world. WHY didn’t anyone tell me that was an option from the beginning? And finally, WASTING my time. While the actual procedure is only 15 minutes, I only had one visit where my appointment was 30 minutes or less. In fact, two of my appointments lasted 2 hours because they were behind. I even called ahead to make sure I wouldn’t have to sit there forever and I was told that they expected to catch up and that I should arrive on time. I’ve done my 6 treatments, and overall I’d give the actual work a 4 out of 5 stars. They do not guarantee their work(like a lot of other laser places), and I can see places where the Dr. did not treat every time that has hair growth.

I went here for a series of chemical peels. I found the aestetician to be wonderful. She remembered our conversations from the month before! I felt like she listened to me on a number of levels and even brought the doctor in to check on an ongoing problem. I had a little trouble scheduling my first appointment so I went ahead and scheduled all three at once. I must say, the waiting room did creep me out a little.
