Rolling Acres Golf Course and Campground is located in beautiful Wyoming County in Pike, NY. Rolling Acres is a 18-hole regulation golfcourse and has 100 campsites spread out over 204 acres of rolling countryside. If you want to get away from the city and into the country, this place is for you. Built on an old campground, Rolling Acres’ original course was opened in 1976 by Carl H. Moore. In 1987, an expansion blended old holes with new.
History
Established in 1976.
In 1976 the front nine which was 2609 yards, par 36, opened for business. In 1987 the back nine opened added an additional 1447 yards to the course, bringing the total yardage to 4056, par 68.
In 1992 four newly expanded holes were opened — holes 11, 12, 13 and 14 were lengthened and included more hazards. In 2002 additional land was acquired and holes 16, 17 and 18 were expanded which included a two acre pond. The back nine is currently 2227 yards — par 35.
In 2009 hole 10 is currently under re-construction from 140 yards to 202 yards — tenative date to open is June 2010.
