I will start by being honest. I love magic shows. I will go out of my way for a marginal magic show. On television, on flyers, on posters, on billboards, on their website, WonderWorks plays up their in-​house magician. The only thing I was really excited about this vacation was seeing the magician.
When I arrived and was condescendingly told there was no magician till February because this is the off-​season, I should have left. In hindsight, i don’t know why I didn’t.
My wife was carrying a 1 month old, so there wasn’t much she would be able to do, but we paid $ 75 and journeyed on.
It. Was. Packed. I notice in the other reviews they suggest coming earlier and later, but I would much rather they make a reasonable judgment and turn people away than cram everyone in and let god sort it out.
There are no employees to be found on the floor (other than those specifically attending attractions), so the kids being rude and unsupervised get to make the most of interactives while any kids who are being polite get shoved aside. As a parent it’s hard to explain to a 7 year old that while the asshole kids seem to be having a lot of fun, that’s not how you should be.
We spent about an hour trying to find any interesting activity, and between the broken interactives and the crowd we gave up and left.
I would rather have spent my money anywhere else today.

We had a nice time here. The prices are a bit high, but to be expected in a tourist area. My biggest complaint would be most of the big stuff isn’t geared for kids between the ages of 2 – 9. Unless you have a tall kid, they’re only going to get to do the basic stuff and that to me wasn’t worth the price I paid.

We went today on December 30^th and it would’ve been fun… if there hadn’t been so many people you couldn’t breathe or play with anything! It didn’t help that out was sprinkling. It was so expensive and my advice is that if you have to wait in line to pay, then you shouldn’t go. That is my $ 150 lesson, please learn from my mistake. Ugh

This would be great for kids. Pay one price and they get to play games. Learning modules as well.

This is more of a tactile museum with a focus on experiencing the science rather than reading about it. I kinda wish there were more things to read but then again I didn’t have much time so I probably missed some of that.
They have a ropes course that I looked at once and chickened out of. There’s also a magic show that we went ahead and got combined tickets for. The magicians museum is free and has an audio portion as well if you have your phone. We didn’t have time so we didn’t get to do it.
We didn’t do everything in the museum but I think the only thing we skipped was the arcade. Their Xtreme 360 ride is one I will never ride again simply because I hate being upside down and I kept falling up when we did. It was terrifying for me.
I loved how interactive it was and how unique it was. I would definitely bring more friends with me to check this place out!!!

If you come here for the rope course in the dark, be prepared to wait for a VERY long time in line to enter. They can’t seem to be able to process any more than 2 to 3 people every 20 minutes.

Young to old this place has things for all ages. From rides to brain games. It’s all over the place very educational just a nice day trip. And when you get your tickets you can come and go as you please to go get lunch and come back it takes a good 4 or less hours to go threw and enjoy everything.

Was great family adventure. But it’s pricey. Kids will enjoy all the interactive games, educational areas. Laser tag was great. I just feel it’s priced too high, especially for those with a lg family. But it is hours of fun. So it can be worth it on a rainy day.

The good: Pricing is reasonable for family. The rope courses can consume a lot of time so you feel like your getting your money’s worth. You will learn something. The laser tag is in 5 minute games.
The bad: Many of the exhibits are broken or only half work. The bathrooms are beyond nasty and didn’t appear to have been cleaned all day. The women’s bathroom in the Space area had no working toilets, all overflowing with feces. The carpet is nasty and gives off a moldy smell which affected my allergies. Most of the staff look upset that that have to help you.

Be prepared to never leave if you have kids lol! I couldn’t get them out of one section to go on to the next. What a fun kid place. My older kids did the ropes course which is actually quite amazing. So much better then most courses. Everything is fun. If we lived close to one, this would be the best birthday party place for kids.

Avoid the balloon ride. Bought tickets, waited over an hour. Staff would let large groups cut in line so no way to estimate your wait. Then they cancelled the ride for the day because the wind was over 5mph. I understand the safety concern so I know they probably had to do that. But overall the whole event is poorly ran.

We came at noon. It was the biggest joke. We used a coupon and it was 68 dollars for two adults and a child. We literally didn’t do anything. It needs to be laid out better. People sit on things forever and people cut in line because it’s very disorganized. The lines were very long and if you do come make sure you bring your tennis shoes. Because you can’t ride things without it. We spent 1 hour in there and left because it was more aggravating than anything. My suggestion of you do come get here as soon as it opens.

BRING YOUR TENNIS SHOES!!! I can’t emphasize that enough. You aren’t allowed on tons of stuff without them. This was fantastic fun for middle-​aged kids and still a lot of fun for older and younger guests. Most of our party was parents and grandparents, and the old ones had a lot of fun, too. Loved the bubble lab.

Let me just say that I have passed this place up many times. I always thought it was a bit pricey but for what your getting it’s not. It’s actually cheap. You pay 25 $ just to get in but your bound to find a coupon nearby anywhere that offered them. My husband and I paid the 27 $ apiece to add OK no a game of Lazer tag. Which was awesome. There are lots of things to do here. It was kinda packed though so make sure you try to go on a school day while kids are at school lol. Loved It here though. I definitely suggest their pizza it seems a bit pricey. $ 3 per slice. But it’s a huge slice. And it tastes delicious. They have a lot of really neat stuff in their shop too. I didn’t do the magic show $ 17.95 but I heard that it was amazing and I wish I could have.

First lets start with the ticket counter. I had purchased our online, which UNLIKE everything else you purchase tickets online for, you have to still stand in the LONG line to get an actual ticket printed to go in to the place. This is an ALL DAY trip if you plan to be able to do everything in here. Most of the day you spend waiting in line, especially for the high top ropes course thing. Bed of nails was cool and actually wasnt a wait for that. My son love the 360 bikes and my daughter was ticked because she was less than an inch too short.
They have measuring bars for all the height restricted rides and scales for all the weight restricted rides so if you think you can lie about either you are wrong. They check!
Good thing is you can leave and come back the same day so if you wanted to break the day up you could. Laser tag was fun and the kids enjoyed it. The kids loved it but due to the fact it was so busy and we were over waiting in long lines (1 hours + for the ropes course) we were unable to do everything we had hoped.

This was a good place for all ages. Educational and very fun. The only complaint is that they were understaffed at this location so some of the exhibits had a very long line and we didn’t have time to wait. Some of the exhibits were also broken and they placed games that required it to be quiet in the loudest room.
The ropes course was the worst. There was a very long line and it wasn’t moving. If you could have signed up for a time and just returned then it would have been better. Overall, fun and educational but could have been a better experience.

Ehhh… Wasn’t all that.
We paid an arm and a leg for admission just to walk around and play with stuff that our local science center carries… Then waited two hours to climb on ropes up above. Which wasn’t that fun and then I had a teenage kid yell at me and blow his whistle several times because I stepped off a rope onto a roof… There wasn’t anywhere else to go! There was a line in front of me…
Anyhow, I wouldn’t recommend this place…

Awesome attraction and great value for the cost! We had a group of 14 and everyone thought it was wonderful.

A little back story about myself: I’ve visited almost every attraction in the area over the last 10 years, and WonderWorks is one of the few «must visits» that I would recommend to friends and family.
Also known to my youngest as «The Upside Down House», Wonderworks is an exciting, learning event for kids that are 5+ years old. I wouldn’t recommend the place for kids younger than that due to the nature of the exhibits. Overall, this place is AWESOME for young and old alike and has something fun and interesting around each corner. WonderWorks boasts a rock climbing wall, a 3 story rope challenge course, real life space shuttle simulators, and a virtual sports machine among others.
The best part, I believe, about Wonderworks is that once you pay your admission ticket (which is pricey at $ 25 per ticket), there are NO MORE charges to participate in anything (other than laser tag and arcade)! This is unusually nice since every attraction in the area seems to have the motive of draining every last dollar you have in your pocket once you enter.
WonderWorks also sports a real magic show starring Terry Evanswood that is separate from the main gallery, which I attended in my most recent visit. This is the longest running show in Pigeon Forge which is a big deal, and is evident once you attend the show. It is very family focused and again, fun for all ages.
If you only have the time or money to visit one attraction in Pigeon Forge, I would strongly recommend WonderWorks.
