Lumberjack Feud

Great show. Very entertaining. All put on a great show. Food was excellent. Hot and seasoned well. Recommend seeing this show when in Pigeon Forge.

My wife, daughter, and I decided to see some local attractions in Pigeon Forge and after enjoying our time at Hatfields and McCoy (H&M), we decided to see this dinner show– I wish he hadn’t.
First off the seating is not table seating, it’s like bar seating which is not conducive to families. Plus, we had to pay $ 20 extra for my daughter who is under 2 to get a high chair because it took an extra seat, unlike H&M.
The music, the emcee, and the jokes were so corny, but I was fine enduring all that for the sake of the experience.
I really started getting upset when the food came out piece by piece. First the biscuit (which was ok), 5 minutes later the potato soup (subpar), then few minutes later, the half chicken (it was good) — but I only had a few bites because I was shocked at the service, then the corn on the cob, which was good too… but I gave to my daughter.
The whole show was saturated with chainsaw commercials and trying to sell their damn DVDs.
I was so upset that I left before the show was over and left them a comment card expressing my disappointment. The actual lumberjack competitors didn’t seem to be really competing– they’re obviously talented, but the challenges just weren’t exciting at all.
If you’re choosing a dinner show to go to, don’t WASTE your money on this one. Hatfields and McCoy was far superior.
Also, there are discounts available for H&M and Comedy Barn together that you can find at the Welcome Center, that make it a much better deal than attending this show.

Show was pretty good, but not sure how all the reviews say the food is good? Typical dinner theatre food maybe even below average

Second best show in Pigeon Forge behind Dixie Stampede. I knew what the Lumberjack events were before going. My wife had no clue what the show would be like and ended up loving it. The show was fantastic, the food was fantastic, and our service was fantastic. I am definitely going again next time we vacation in the area.

This was a really fun show and different than anything we’ve ever seen while in Pigeon Forge. Everyone put on a great show. We decided to just get tickets to the show and pass on the dinner to be a bit cheaper and that ultimately ended up being for the best because the food didn’t look too good lol. Go for the show because it’s worth it! Also our team won which is always fun!

My husband and I went to this show last night. We weren’t particularly interested in this theme, but we had a coupon and we were looking for something reasonably priced. We chose the show only option.
This show won us over right from the start by asking our current and former service members to stand and be honored. I love that!
This show was SO MUCH FUN! It exceeded our expectations in every way! There was a bit of music, comedy, athletics, animals, dancing… You name it! We both absolutely loved this show. The food looked so good we actually wished we decided to have dinner there. We didn’t take our kids to this show, but it was definitely family friendly. We would spend the money to see this show again.

Best family dinner show I’ve done. I’m comparing against Dixie Stampede, Hoop Dee Doo, & Medieval Times.
The arena itself is impressive. Trees, water, and a audience of hundreds sets the scene. I’d recommend paying the extra ~$ 5 for premium seating in the front two rows. Worth it.
The musical pre-​show was entertaining. The characters were very funny and engaging. Food was better than I’d expected — soup, moist rotisserie chicken, corn, biscuit, roared potatoes, & an apple pastry for dessert. All were tasty and seasoned well. Our server was on top of things. The variety of competitions, including several canine events, was excellent.
My 2-​year-​old was dancing and excited at almost every point of the show. My 6-​year-​old cheered hard for the McCoys and was really into it.
Every worker we came across added to the positive experience. Our 5pm show’s pre-​show started 30 minutes early and it all ended around 6:45pm. We were amongst the last to leave because my son wanted photos and autographs of all the performers on his «cookie» (branded piece of cut lumber). Overall, we had a blast and would definitely go again.

This was a fantastic show. Great Food, good show, lots of fun and interaction. My kids loved it. This show was a great value.

Huge portions and fun show! We all had the meal: half chicken, corn, potatoes, biscuit, soup, and dessert with unlimited (limited selection) drinks. I would like to see a caffeine free soda or lemonade available for the kids.
The show was fun with a great musical opening act. We especially enjoyed the exciting dog tricks, talented dancing, corny jokes, and amazing feats by the lumber jacks and jills.
Would recommend it for all ages. Any seat in the house offers a great view.

Fantastic show and affordable! Food was excellent and a good sized portion. My whole family (4) really enjoyed the show. Stihl chainsaws, barrel racing, dog racing, lumberjack and lumberjill competitions & bluegrass singing. Highly recommend that you visit the Lumberjack Feud while you are in Pigeon Forge, TN. YO-​HO!!!

It’s OK. Not as good as the Hatfield and McCoys. It’s a big commercial for Stihl chainsaws. It’s a bit slow and not that engaging (unlike Hatfield and McCoys)

The dinner and show were one of the best in The Smokies. Definitely worth the cost. Will be back another time.

Dinner was better than most of the dinner show places.
It was a wonderful little history lesson + goofy jokes + all matter of lumberjack type games + even one of the AGT’s cloggers.
They were incredibly accommodating to the special needs in our party. That is rarer than it should be but I REALLY appreciate the extra care taken.

Having been spoilt by the Hatfield and Mcoy show i didn’t really like this. It was ok if you take it for what it is. I liked the log rolling the best. The dinner comes out piece by piece rather than all in one go ie chicken then potatoes then corn. Unlikely I would go again.

«Do it for the kids.» — Kids and adults who like watching the lumberjack competitions on ESPN 4 are going to get a kick out of this show. Decided to check the Lumberjack Feud in Pigeon Forge, TN out on a Monday night, and while the show was a little corny, if you remember that the target audience is families with children from out of town, it’s an enjoyable experience.
The food, as most Unilocalers have described it, is not gourmet or «5 stars» by any stretch of the imagination. We were given a fairly large portion of corn, dressing, mash potatoes, a slice of turkey, a slice of ham, and sweet potatoes. However, I found it to be somewhat bland and would rate the food 2 stars as decently adequate.
The show on the other hand gets a higher rating for being innovative, dynamic, and fast paced. The crew did well at keeping drinks filled, and keeping the crowd amped up. They do all the events that you’d see in a classical lumberjack competition so it is fun to watch in real life. My personal favorite is the 60 ft. log climb and decent.
I would recommend this to anyone with kids aged 4 – 12, and unless they change the food, would probably recommend opting out of dinner (which is an option) and having dinner at one of the many other establishments in the area. Enjoy the feud ya’ll!

Of all the things we have done in Pigeon Forge/​Galinburg for a week, this was the most fun due its taking sides atmosphere cheering for the team they chose for you. Since its not in Gatlinburg parking is free. Enjoyed it all, dogs of course.
Reviewers are right on about the show and food. Seats with meals are also closer to the action and have a table in stadium seating. Servers who refill walk in front of you instead of behind you.
Only noticed one blatant staging of competition which he made an extra chainsaw cut to lose one event. So they do care making both sides feel like alternating winners or losers. Hope they repractice the comedy routine, the actors involved are good.
Like some ballgames, audience members participate in some events, the climb by amateurs was too much though.

This show was cute, funny, fun and amazing.
I dont want to be a spoiler and tell you what all they do.so.i will leave you with that. i like for shows to be a surprise, if you know whats expected its not that fun.

Could have been better…
We decided to do dinner and a show so we picked the lumberjack feud. Our server was great. The food a little disappointed it looked like TV dinner, it was edible, but not my favorite. Most of us just taste it and left most on our plates. The show was good with lumberjack and dogs games. The elf was annoying it didn’t fit the theme, it was not even funny. The gift shop was great bought lot of cool gifts. So overall it was just ok I dont think I would do it again.

Great show the lumber jacks were impressive. I think the food was awful you can find TV dinners that taste better. The servers were great they worked everywhere on stage and off.

TIP: Grab a $ 5 off coupon at the Tennessee Welcome Center. This is better than any other deal available.
A friend and I had a rollicking good time at the Lumberjack Feud on a recent Sunday night. Despite the venue being only half full, the energy was still high and the performers seemed to do a great job.
Naïve as I was, I had no idea that competitive lumbersports were a thing, but boy did I learn quick. From log rolls to wood chopping to tree climbing, there was an amazing amount of skill in what the young men and women were doing.
Though calling the dinner «5 courses» is a total stretch, the food was tasty and filling. It included chicken, pork, mac and cheese, a roll, and some carrots served in a metal tray followed by some sort of sticky bun as a dessert. The waiter was quick with refills too.
I loved the appearances of the dogs as well as the horse. All and all, it was a fun time, and I felt like I got my money’s worth. I imagine it would be great for kids as all the ones there seemed to have a blast.
