What a diamond in the rough! Shane and Jayme Taylor use their catering smarts to serve up simple — but delicious — food. Try the prime rib on the week-ends. Or their specialty — pulled pork. Or wait — maybe the Cheesey Potatoes are their specialty — everyone orders them! If you catch them on a night when Shane is practicing on his new grill, you’re guaranteed to get something delicious and different. Early on the week-ends there are lots of families with small children — some not so well-behaved. If you want a quieter atmosphere, try waiting until the dinner rush is over — but then you might miss the prime rib!

My husband and I were in Pierce, NE to visit family and we hosted a gathering of approximatley 30 people in the back room @ Taylor’s. Was very pleased with the service and attention to our group. We had the chicken wings and pizza and everyone enjoyed the food. Would use them again!

I come here every time I visit my family in Pierce. While the food is okay, I come more out of necessity than desire. The next closest«real» restaurant is over 10 miles away, so this is the only option if I want quick food without cooking it myself. The burgers are decent, although with all the talk I hear about«Nebraska beef», I’d expect them to be a little better. Oh well. The chicken strips are good and the beer battered fries are definitely the way to go(the regular fries just don’t do it for me). I wanted to order the chicken fried steak last time I was here, but they only have it on Fridays and Saturdays, so I couldn’t get it. I ordered the mozzarella sticks and the marinara sauce they came with was cold(that’s just not how it’s done in California). While Taylor’s isn’t exactly fantastic, it is the best place around(I’m usually quite disappointed by the food when I’m in Nebraska. I mean, seriously, talk about blandness and a lack of culture.) Overall, I’m happy with this place, but I don’t really ever want to go back(because that would require me to return to Nebraska)
