We’ve been coming to this charming little café since 2007. I believed it’s changed owners once but they make some serious down home southern cooking. Back in the day we came here for Apple Jack’s(which was my intro to apple in a sandwich) but they have many delicious daily specials. I ate here twice during the week for lunch. Once I had a Rueben sandwich with wild rice soup. Very tasty! Secondly I ate the shrimp and grits on another day which was awesome in a different way! It wasn’t a creamy shrimp and grits but came with sausage in a lightly red sauce! They are always very friendly and exude that southern charm and thank us for coming! Lunch can take a bit longer here on a busy day(it’s just the family cooking in the back). But it’s worth the wait! A great lunch place… fells like you are in someone’s home eating their home cooking!
