Updating my review for Kathy’s AMAZING customer service. I went today to purchased some new NYX products, lashes, glue, nail polish, and a Milani liquid lipsticks. I know the milani liquid lipsticks aren’t new, but they’re hard to find at drugstores if they’re not already opened and tested. I was by the 5 and slauson when I realized I didn’t have the liquid lipstick. I called the store but by that time it had closed, so I left her a comment on her Instagram. Within the hour she replied to me with an alternative phone number and assured me she put the item in the bag. Who gets a response from a company within an hour? She’s a small business owner, it’s just her and her husband, and she responded personally! You can’t get that type of customer service with the majority of businesses. She is incredibly sweet, dedicated to her store, and her customers. And she was right! She did put my liquid lipstick in the bag. It just fell out of the bag and into my car.

Good makeup at a good price they have a big selection to pick from they take card and cash but the only bad thing is if you have a temporary card with out your name they won’t take it or a visa gift card as well but all in all good spot to try new makeup to play and learn new things with out breaking the bank

I came here to find LA Girl products and they had a great selection with every color in stock. They also carry a wide range of NYX, Milani, and a few other brands. The prices are super reasonable and the Korean lady there is very helpful and nice. The red cherry knockoff eyelashes are also a great deal, only $ 1.30!
I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars because many of the products didn’t have testers so you couldn’t sample them before buying.

Before anything else if I could give this place zero stars I would. This place is horrible! I bought some hair extensions here yesterday and the quality was horrible. I was going to return them today because they are unopened and unused. Well i called and some lady with a horrible attitude answered and told me that I couldn’t return them to the store. First off yesterday when I bought them the other lady didn’t tell me this. Second she didn’t even give me a store receipt, she just gave me my card receipt. Apparently they never do refunds and they tell all of their customers that. Well I was never told this or else I wouldn’t be so mad and I would have never bought the extensions. When I was speaking to this lady on the phone she kept telling me it was my fault. So now I’m out $ 140 dollars. To the lady that answered the phone, you said one bad Unilocal review wouldn’t matter well I hope that with this review you lose customers.

The stupid lady was RUDE AF! Followed me and my daughter around the store and told her not to open A TESTER that was already half gone! So I told my daughter lets go cuz she was being rude and then she got all crazy saying she wasn’t being rude and that it wasn’t a tester but it was!!! So we were leaving and she said «Don’t come back!» Too bad cuz I’ve been here plenty of times and the other lady is super nice. They should really consider hiring new people cuz they just lost a good customer due to one miserable lady’s actions. If she hates people she shouldn’t be working retail.

I absolutely love this place. They have such a big variety and great prices. My mom has been going since they were in the indoor swamp meet. The owner is amazing. Always super helpful!

Walked in on a whim, literally thought I had died and gone to heaven. They carry so many lines of affordable products and they are very well stocked. The woman at the counter was so helpful and sweet! I’m already dreaming about my next visit.

Owner is very helpful! Amazing selection of products. Great prices! I am a lipstick junkie and she has tons of brands and colors. I leave with a new color every time! I bought some makeup brushes without high expectations and they happen to be my favorite one’s now!!! I will definitely continue to stop by to see what’s new.

MUST READ ! Tips and fav products below! Some places will look at you like you are crazy if you want to buy over a dozen lashes at one time… but a lash maniac like me has to stock up, especially when they have #601 lashes for $ 1.30! The owner was so nice, I asked her if it was ok if I could buy that many right now, and she replied with a big smile saying «you can buy as many as you would like»
She helped me get a pair of earrings, and had such a sweet attitude. I loved how stocked they were in lashes, Nyx products, and LA girl products. They also had MaryKay makeup remover which is the only kind I use! Plus contour pallets. I wanted to check out this place sooner, I’m so glad I did! I was thoroughly impressed !
Just some products I would say you must get /​try when coming here
–LA girl concealer! I have sensitive skin and bad scars and it’s only $ 3 but it literally covers so well! Plus doesn’t cause me to break out! I compare it with my MAC prolong wear
–NYX glitter roll ons … They are so easy to apply on the eyelid to add a quick Bling to any eye look ! So easy and I love them! Only $ 4.50 I believe ?
— the lashes they have here are literally the same ones as the red cherries on the wall just they aren’t in the red cherry packaging … So if you use red cherries take note… They have them for $ 1.30 unpacked and $ 2.50 packed with the red cherry name
— Nabi gel nail color — lasts longer then normal polish and it’s only $ 2 !
— If you tend to have sensitive skin (like me) try Mary Kay make up remover it is oil free and it’s the only one that doesn’t burn my skin ! And works so well
I could go on but those are some of the things I bought that you MUST TRY! :)

I have been coming here for more than 5 years Katherine (the owner) is so nice and has the best prices around. I love their lashes I usually buy a minimum of 15 (sorry for buying all your demi lashes!) Being a makeup artist this is my go-​to for lashes and lipsticks/​gloss. They’re also one of the only stores around me who carry a wide varity of NYX Cosmetics. They’re also always stocked yay! I love that they carry a bunch of other things from hair accessories, hair products to socks for heels/​flats. Definitely a hidden gem in Pico Rivera!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Sun Cosmetics! I’ve been a loyal customer for about 8 years, since they were in the Pico Indoor Swapmeet. The owner Kat is so sweet and personable. She’s never pushy, is helpful and always remembers little things I mention to her which I appreciate –shows she actually cares and listens to her customers :)
It’s really a one stop shop for all your beauty and cosmetic needs; from brushes to lashes to accessories! Although I buy the majority of my beauty products from Sun, I mainly go for their incredible eyelash selection, as I wear lashes almost everyday. Their eyelashes are top of the line, varied, and so reasonably priced. I get complimented on my lashes every time I wear them, specifically by makeup artists. They’re always surprised to find out how inexpensive they are, as they look expensive –so I’m told :) I live 40 mins away, but Sun is SO worth the drive! I could never buy my lashes anywhere else. I advise buying what you need in bulk if you’re not local.
