Had to replace the windshield on my 2005 Lexus. Rafael showed up as expected and did an excellent job. It was fun to watch a pro work and he was great at explaining everything. And he cleaned all my windows, vacuumed the entire car, and even used armor all on the dash and instrument cluster. And the amount was just as they quoted…$ 311 out the door. It’s nice to have a new windshield and I highly recommend their service. Try to ask for Rafael… it’s worth it!

Woke up and go to my car only to find some POS decided to break in and steal something of zero value. So I call my insurance and they send me to Safelite and to be honest I was kind of disappointed because the earliest time was 2 days away. But the helpful people at customer service said just go in and they can temporarily put a crash wrap to at least help seal your window and keep the water out.
So I go to the nearest Safelite location, explain my situation and why I was there and the lady at the window was able to squeeze me in for a same day appointment which was just awesome. She was so helpful and made my day. Extremely happy and can’t say enough.
Thank you so much. The work was delivered on time, they cleaned up all the glass. Hope I don’t have to go back but if I do, definitely coming here.

Had a chip in our new Fiat 500 front windshield. Set up an appt. with Safelite after searching different choices online. We had them come to us because it was the most convenient option. They definitely do what they promise. The technician Nicolas Franco showed up on time (they allow you to choose a window of time for the repair).and he called us with time updates during the day .so they do not waste your time… Nick was completely professional, friendly and knew his job. He is the reason for the 5 star review. He was very knowledgeable and he allowed us to watch the whole procedure and explained what was being done. He cleaned our other windows while the repair was being done and even looked at a problem on our second vehicle for an opinion on it’s repair. Customer service at it’s very best for sure. We would definitely recommend Safelite to anyone wanting to fix a chip or crack. The chip is not completely gone but you can barely see it any more and it is guaranteed not to crack or run for as long as we own the car… that’s a pretty good representation of a company that stands behind their work. I decided to contact Safelite because I saw their ads on television so many times that I figured they could be trusted. After logging onto their website I noticed they had an office in Pico Rivera so I called, compared their prices to two other quotes I received and booked an appointment. Their prices were the best and their office was much more convenient so it was a win win situation for me. I was quoted a little over $ 350 for both windows to be replaced and installed. Not bad.
I had my drivers side window and the windshield of my dad’s pick-​up truck replaced after someone vandalized his truck. You can see the pictures of the broken windows in this post. I didn’t take any after pictures but the windows came out great. Like factory brand new kind of great. Anyway, that’s aside from the point. Back to the review.
Well, my appointment was at 9am and I arrived at 8:45am and checked in. After waiting 45 minutes to finally have my car looked at, I was told it would be two hours to fix. So I decided I would go home and come back. I received a call about 11am and was told that there was rust beneath the old windshield and they would have to try and scrub it off before they could place the new windshield on. Something about the adhesive not being able to stick on rust. Understandable. They were able to get the rust off but if it was serious rusting I would have had to take the truck to be repaired at a body shop so they could remove the rust and fix the area where the windshield would be placed. I dodged a bullet with that one. At about 3pm my truck was ready. I picked up the truck and both windows were great and the job was complete.
Now, when I say they are good but not great, it’s because after I took the truck home and inspected it a bit more, I noticed that there was broken glass from the old windows still in the cab of the truck, on the floor, on the seat, and in the door — you could hear the little bit of leftover broken glass when you closed the door. I thought that maybe they would have at least vacuumed the glass from inside the door but apparently not. At least I was able to vacuum up the broken glass from the inside of the cab. Still a little disappointed about the glass in the truck door but I can live with it. Otherwise, they are definitely worth the money.

Poor service. I have an 87 GMC sierra 1500 that needed windows replace. Had called safelight to replaced them both and while installing my front windshield they stopped and told me they couldn’t go forward with the installation due to small rust around my window. Now im left without a front windshield and unable to drive my truck. Thank you safelight for shitty fucken service!!!

Windshield was replaced, molding separated on both sides unprofessional work, horrible communication, trying to resolve the issue for two weeks with no results, they never call to update you on things, what kind of store manager doesn’t return a call. I will never do business with this company again.

Made an appointment for Tuesday 8÷18÷2015, they called and changed to Wednesday 8÷19÷2015. They call on Wednesday to tell me they don’t have the windshield, will have to reschedule for Thursday ⁸⁄₂₀. They call Thursday to tell me the driver has been in a car accident, but they will get someone else to come out and replace my windshield. They call back later Thursday to tell me, sorry, can’t today, will have to reschedule. I told them, sorry, not this lifetime, maybe see you next. Goodbye. I will never call them, again, except to come on here and give them this bad review over and over again, so others can be aware. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Just get out of the business!

Had to get the windshield replaced on my Prius but with my busy schedule i just couldnt find the time to go into a shop. I scheduled an appointment online late in the afternoon and they where in the parking lot of my office the very next day!
Rafael was the name of my technician and honestly hes the reason im giving this a 5 star review. Its very hard now-​a-​days to find someone who really prides them selves in the work that they do but Rafael was extremely knowledgeable and very informative. He had no problem answering all of my questions and explaining the process as he worked. Very very clean and meticulous worker. made me feel extremely comfortable with the work being done on my car. very friendly guy;also the reason for my five star review (customer service at its finest). I will definitely recommend Safelite to anyone!

Front windshield glass is warped and view of outside is distorted due to poor installation and bunching of the rubber sealing :/

I contacted Safelite this morning to see if I could get a chip in my windshield repaired before Friday. Claude, the dispatcher, was extremely friendly and helpful and gave me a variety of mobile service options, depending on whether I was going to be at home during the day or at my office building. I called Safelite at 10 am and by 11:20, two technicians were meeting me in my office parking lot. Steven and Rick observed the «chip» in my windshield and told me that it was actually just a surface scratch that would not spread or cause a crack in the glass. They informed me that they could fill the imperfection, but since I was paying out of pocket, they didn’t recommend the purely cosmetic procedure. I was so impressed with their honesty and professionalism! If I ever get an actual crack in my windshield, Safelite will be the first company that I contact to repair it!

We scheduled an appointment for 10:30 this morning and apparently the call center triple booked the business because we ended up waiting an hour and a half and were not even seen. By the time they finally were ready, they told us it would take an hour to repair. We’ve had cracks repaired in 15 minutes. This is ridiculous. If it takes an hour to repair, why couldn’t we be told this when we got there? Then, with the «triple booking», we wouldn’t have even wasted time waiting. We aren’t using this company again. Transparency can go a long way and we would have happily returned a different time.

I brought my 2-​week old car in for a chip in the windshield. I told the people at Safelite that I was so disappointed in my little imperfection and I was hoping that they could fix it for me. They understood completely and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Thanks Safelite!

Had my windshield replaced about a month ago. I had previously had my window repaired by safelite but the repairs didn’t hold up and my whole windshield cracked from the bottom corner all the way across to the top.
So i came back im to replace the whole windshield since their shotty «repair» didn’t hold up and I got a ticket for a broken windshield.
They try and tell you they will deduct what you already paid for the repairs to the cost of the new windshield but the only problem is the price of a new windshield here is a rip off. So imagine paying full retail price for a new windshield minus the cost of the repair still comes out to almost $ 300 when every other place replaces windshields for a fraction of that.
So they replace my windshield, no problem with at all, they actually did it fast and a decent job. Well until I try and use my AM/​FM radio and not one single station comes in clear. I check for my antenna and it’s gone
So I call them back and after being on hold for about 15 minutes I reach someone and let them know what happened, so they call this shop where the work was done (there is only an 800 number they give to their call center and no direct number to this shop)
After I explained my situation the lady I spoke to (some kind of manager) she gets defensive and denies losing the antenna, and makes it seem like it’s my fault and asks why did I wait a few days to contact them well maybe cause I don’t use my AM/​FM radio very much so I didn’t notice until I tried to use it.
The manager makes it seem like shes doing me a favor and says she will order me a new antenna, that they will call me back when it arrives. Well after waiting close to a month without hearing from them I call the 800 number again and explain the situation. They put me in contact with some executive manager or some other helpless soul, he takes my number and says he will call me back.
Two weeks later no call back from these people, so I call back last week and explain my story for the 3^rd or 4^th time. They conference in the manager from this location and they said your antenna has been here come pick it up.
So I make my way down there today to pick up my antenna and explain the story again, he grabs a few antennas and asks is this it, i’m like WOW really? He tries the first one and it don’t fit, finally the second one fits and I ask him if this happens a lot he’s like «nah whenever we work on cars I remove the antenna and leave it right here on the curb».
Oh good to know next time you have your windshield replaced don’t forget to check the curb to see if your antenna is sitting there… Complete Morons

I used the mobile service from pico rivera, A+ service. The tech Roman was professional and came at the time frame I sceduled. I was extremely nervous about having to find someone to fix my windshield, they made it extremely easy from scheduling on the website till actual installment.

Had a small chip that was starting to grow. Gilbert fixed the chip in less than 30 minutes and it looks good. All thats left from the chip is a small spot on the windshield but i doenst bother me at all. Good sevice a little more than what i expected to pay but far less than replacing the whole windshield. Im satisfied

I needed to get my windshield fixed and had set up an appointment through my insurance company. Unfortunately the tech was behind on the day I had originally scheduled and they wanted me to come in a two hours later. I could not and rescheduled for an early Monday morning appt. I arrived on time and was promptly helped. The tech apologized for the confusion for my last visit, which was nice that he remembered. I had used this company before and told them to re-​order my same requests from the last time, meaning I wanted the glass to match the manufacturer of my car. Unfortunately they did not take this request the second time and gave me a generic brand. I was not in the mood to wait and come back again so I just said do the job. The tech told me that it might take up to two hours, which I expected. Luckily it only took about an hour — which was great. I knew that I should not drive for at least an hour so I went to the shopping center next door to let the window set a little. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The employees were all very helpful and made the process go very quickly. I would recommend their service, just make sure you make an appointment in advance.

As far as I know the replacement glass is exactly what I already had for a premium leased vehicle. At first they told me that they possibly had the wrong glass for this car after they had ordered it 2 weeks prior and had plenty of time to discover the error. I turned around to walk out the door and get on my cell phone and as I was dialing the technician tells me that he was wrong and it truly was the correct part.
Whew!
So glad about that.
I’m a car fanatic and I hate subpar anything. Get it right and get it right the first time. I had been driving around for weeks with a windshield that had a creeping crack after getting smacked with a small pebble that flew out of the back of a gravel truck.
I let them take me to a restaurant in the area while I waited for them to do the replacement. It took them about an hour more or less. Then they called and picked me up from the restaurant.
The technicians and other members of staff were very nice.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Baseball hit my back windshield and my insurance recommended Safelite, so I called to order exact replacement as I am leasing my car. I was told I would have to wait 3 – 5 days for the part to come from the dealer. I called 5 times to follow up to get an idea of when the glass would come and nobody had any answers for me. A week later, someone called to schedule the installation appointment finally. Technician came and installed windshield. I was then told by him that the windshield installed was not OEM as specifically ordered, this is a lease and I clearly asked for an exact replacement regardless of cost. On top of that the glass was warped! Every time I looked through the back window I got sick! Furthermore, the rubber casing around the window was sticking out, as if it was done sloppily in a hurry. I was SO ANGRY!!! After being without a car for over a week, Safelite installed a defective piece of glass sloppily into my car. This is beyond UNPROFESSIONAL on so many levels!!!
Obviously I called Safelite to complain about this and it took days to get anywhere. I called and spent hours at a time trying to get through to somebody who understood my complaint and would listen, it was like speaking to a wall. Half of my calls were either the agent ACCUSING ME OF LYING about what glass I ordered, or them trying to tell me the glass in my car was better than the OEM glass I was requesting. This service was infuriating. Never have I been so disrespected and so ignored by a customer service oriented business in my entire life.
Finally, I got ahold of a manager who agreed that they would listen to the original calls placed when the glass was ordered to see if I had in fact ordered the glass I said I ordered. Turns out the call center had created four+ different orders for me by spelling my name wrong in a variety of creative ways. They attributed this to a possible error, but never took any responsibility. It was then also brought to my attention that the original order they fulfilled (with the defective glass) never noted WHAT TYPE of glass was ordered, so they gave me the standard, non OEM glass!!! Shouldn’t someone have followed up on this?! How is that acceptable?! So, after all of this, I was told that the report from calls would come in about 48 hours.
A FULL WEEK LATER, I recieved a call from someone new to schedule an installation appointment. Nobody had followed up about the findings of the calls, or to update me on the status of the case. They said they were calling to install the new glass and I insisted I speak with a manager. The manager confirmed that I had ordered
OEM glass originally from the start and that is what they would be installing now. No apology, no responsibility, not even a slight mention that they were sorry for this ridiculous three week process where they had been so wrong so many times and so rude to a customer.
I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy use these services; they were unprofessional, installed incorrect and faulty products, and never accepted any blame or responsibility for their mistakes.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.

«Five Star all the way» This place really knows hot to take care of customers. Jashua M. who was the tech was very professional and explained the procedure A-​Z. Office personnel was very polite and lots of hellos from the staff. I will refer all the homies.

My wife was driving, stopped at a red light waiting for the green arrow to make a left turn. She hears a quick sharp pop of something that hits the windshield. What was it? Well, let me say this. It’s amazing how one small flying pebble could hit the windshield of her Ford Edge with enough force to damage it.
After a few phone calls to auto glass shops, I was told the fine line 8 inch crack was beyond repair. We needed to replace it. We decided to have Safelite Auto Glass install a new one at a total cost of $ 245. Having 65 years of service and serve more than 4 million customers a year, I felt comfortable and confident with our choice and arranged a Saturday morning appointment.
While I relaxed in their small clean waiting room, technician Jashua precisely installed a new windshield in 45 minutes. Safety and peace of mind knowing your loved one’s are driving a safe vehicle is crucial. If you have a damaged car window, I would recommend Safelite.

Brought my car to get windshield sealed since it was leaking. They wouldn’t touch it saying someone else did it and they don’t want to chance fixing it. If they are professional windshield installers this shouldn’t be an issue. It’s a factory windshield also. Very disappointed. I will take my business elsewhere

Awful experience.
Rude on the phone. Unprofessional.
They assured me they had my glass for me, and I scheduled an appointment with them. No one else seemed to have it, so I was very relieved. I quadruple checked with them, and the lady kept assuring me «yes we have that window.»
Of course, wake up to a phone call the next morning explaining how they did not have my window. I ended up getting the window fixed from a different company for ½ the price Safelite quoted me. Stay away.

It turned out that the rain sensor wasn’t correctly put back in place inside the housing. I discovered this when I mentioned that my intermittency wiper setting stopped working after I had the windshield replaced to my regular auto mechanic, who fixed the problem once he opened the housing…
Minus a star because two separate Safelite technicians who were aware of the problem didn’t realize this…
