Best barber shop in the area. If your looking for a a Great barber this is the place. Been coming here for 4+ years. Best to make an appointment as the wait can be long.

For starters, I know how to cut my own hair. I stopped going to shops because I’ll usually drop $ 20 in a place only to get home and see a bunch of spots missed, a hack job all together, or have to wait an insane amount of time to get the shittiest barber in the place because the good barbers are too good to take walk-​ins. I then usually have to get my clippers out and fix the mess left on my head and wonder why I even subject myself to this bs and worst I’m out $ 20.
Anyway…I work in payroll and it’s year end so I get home too tired to do my own hair, so I decided to look for a place to take over. I don’t mind paying good money as long as the job is done right. This shop had great reviews, so I decided to give them a shot. I showed up at 9:55am this Saturday because it says they open at 10:00. There was a lady already waiting with her son. She said she had been there since 9:45 and that a guy came in, opened the shop, got something and left right away. At about 10:05 another guy showed up with his 2 boys. We all started talking and realized we were all first timers and were there based on their ratings on Unilocal.Well… after waiting until 10:45 we all finally gave up and left pissed.
Long story short, this place should change their name to «Jonny’s Open Up When Ever the Fu€# I want Barber Shop»…lmao.
Needless to say, I went to another highly rated place on Paramount and Florence to get a hack job. I hold Jonny’s solely responsible for this. Wonder how long this place will stay in business…

Babysitting my little nephew realizing he needs a haircut. I happened to drive by this location unsure of how good the barbers are. Took a look on Unilocal and they had decent reviews so I decided to take the risk. The owner I believe named Jhonny was soo nice and had patience with my picky nephew. He even tried to make him comfortable keeping a conversation going with school and so forth. Very neat experience here! Thank you for being nice and patient.

I’ve been driving past this place for years, finally come in for a cut and been going back ever since. It’s quite a popular spot in the neighborhood and they do get busy from time to time, but the barbers here do a great job and take their time.
Make sure you tip these guys. They have their own business cards so you can get a hold of them and make an appointment. Or you can just walk in, but on a busy day be prepared to wait.

Lets get straight to the point. i called and made an appointment, got in, got a fresh cut, got out. i go to Johnny but i have been cut by the other barbers so trust you cant go wrong with who ever cuts your hair, they are all good. Its a chill spot, music playing and they don’t mind me vaping. if you need a great, fresh, HAIR CUT you NEED to hit this place up.

I have to say they’re all really talented barbers that get along with everyone as if they were family. This little whole in the wall that you pass by on Rosemead and never step a foot in is a must try. It’s competitive to all other top dollar barbers. If you look at their photos they’re detailed hairstyles. This is a mans world barber shop right here. If you want that classy, funky, fresh to death look, and any style look than this is your next barber. Make an appointment and you’ll never regret the wAy you come out lookin, I guarantee that you’ll walk out with a smile that’s what’s important. I Started coming here a few months ago and hands down it is the best barber shop I have walked into all my life. All the barbers are extremely talented. They give the best fades, designs, undercuts, etc, but what makes this shop the best is the costumer service, all the barbers are super cool. Nevertheless the maintenance of the shop is on point, the machine are properly up kept, no re used blades and everything is clean. The most important thing of all is that you feel welcomed and the vibe is excellent. 10 stars

I would say customer service sucks but there is no customer service! I walk in, don’t get a greeting. People walk in and get serviced while others are waiting. No telling anyone, there’s a wait or we take appointments first, not a thing. They just ignore you. Serious douche bag attitudes. It’s like being in a jr high locker room with some idiot talking about getting drunk and banging girls with an 8 year old getting a haircut right next to him. I guess professional is a foreign concept to these people. I had enough and walked out without a haircut.

Johnny on point. Been cutting my own hair for years, hard to find a good barber. Takes his time and attention to detail is ridiculous. Make an appointment though there low staff and only seat 4 on a good day.

Everyone there can cut which is a huge plus… Don’t know how many times I’ve been to a shop and only one barber could cut lol… Everyone is friendly and good haircuts so can’t beat it :)

My first time here. These guys are detailed and do PERFECT CUTS. I will never go to salons again. Great prices, they do a razor shave, style, it all. This is a guys place to go get a haircut before a night on the town. Highly recommend this place.

Rude rude rude on the phone. If the service is bad on the phone. I don’t even want to bother coming in for a cut. Acting like I’m bothering them when I called. Don’t even say «hello barbershop «. Just says «hey» «yeah» «busy» And hang up on me. Pretty wack service.

I don’t let just anybody touch my hair. Always get treated like family. Really cool ambient, get that old school barber shop feel were you go in to get a great hair cut and to catch up on some sports and music. Johnny’s Gino Beto they are all well talented barbers. I highly recommend this Baber shop to friends family and fellow Unilocalers stop on by and let them do what they do best and get a fresh cut my these guys.

I TRULY think Johnny from All Star Fades deserves it. This little place gets packed! Luckily I made an appointment. His service was great and he is very open to any designs you have in mind (and I am one picky girl!). Cannot wait to see him in two weeks!
