Great food & fantastic prices. Definitely a must try if you are looking for authentic Mexican food. We decided to try this place(while waiting for the girls to finish their operation clean clothes mission) based on my Cousin Barney posts about this place.

For a hole in the wall Mexican food restaurant it is great! And the service is awesome as well. Whenever my boyfriend and I are sick we order the magic soup«cocido» and I swear we feel better!!! There food is great!

Authentic Mexican food! Our waitress Jackie was amazing! She took such good care of us. Honestly, best hospitality service than most big named restaurant out there. The camarones al mojo de ajo were to die for. Great place!

Food poisoning alert!!! I had not been here in years and I remember loving this place. I ordered chilaquiles and diet coke. First of all, the coke had no taste so I returned it and I was still charged for it. The chilaquiles, rice and beans were questionable but I still ate it because I was hungry. I also shared with my 3 yr old. 3 hours later my 3yr old and myself were vomiting all day and all night. Never again will I step foot in this place.

In a word, bland. Chorizo and eggs, with rice and beans. Rice was very bland. Beans were almost as bland, and about a ¼ high layer or beans. Overall, didn’t kill that urge you get, for chorizo. Tortillas, no browning whatsoever. As though the tortillas were microwaved? Hot, but white all over.

This place looks like a dump. This is a typical Mexican mom & pop hole in the wall with outstanding food. Prices are so dam reasonable I can afford to eat here often and I definitely will. Extremely authentic Mexican homemade cooking. I can’t praise the food enough.

Small place not fancy @all, but the food and service is great & you cannot beat the prices for the quality and amount of food. Definitely coming back to try other plates.

This place is fantastic! If you want some homemade style Mexican food check this place out. Don’t come expecting anything fancy, innovative, or big, this place serves regular everyday mexican food, just like mom used to cook. The place looks old, no A/C, hole in the wall. The customer service is practicality non-existent but that’s okay because everyone is nice either way… its just like your being served at home… no fake smiles, no warm greetings, just nice family people serving good homemade Mexican food.

Gee where to start. I wouldn’t even give it one star but Unilocal won’t let you give a review without at least one. So this place is right across Norms been eye balling this lil place since we have been to the one in Pomona and the one in Lynnwood or South Gate. This place hives CASAJIMENEZ a bad name. First off they have what seemed like their whole fam sitting and hanging around, laughing so loud. The brought us chips and salsa. The chips were way over toasted… looked very dark brown. Taste like burned. I Ordered torta with side order of french fries… why did i get a plate of maybe about 10 – 15 fries. Thats concidered an order? Then waitress got into it with my husband over their special enchilada all you can eat plate. When he asked for more enchiladas the waitress said he had to have more than one option on that menu to get all you can eat. ??? Excuse me? We have never heard of that in any other location. So whatever my husband ordered a tamale(which he didn’t like so didn’t eat) so then he asked for two more enchiladas since he did order more than one option… he was entitled to more enchiladas. The waitress said. he couldn’t get more because he didn’t finish his tamale. Omg are you kidding me? Never, ever again. I’m taking my business to norms better! No tip. Bad service, disappointed in this location. Upset customer.

One of my old time favorites! Can’t beat their 1.99 breakfast specials, usually take our food to go. Today opted to eat here. Service was great, my coffee cup was never empty. My husband enjoyed the menudo a I the chorizo omelet. Will continue to come!

Quick«Huevos Rancheros 101» class… they need to have a lightly fried tortilla underneath. Per the waitress: They don’t make them that way. The egg is supposed to be over-easy and not cooked through. Service was good. The place is small and the exhaust ducts in the kitchen aren’t strong enough so you walk out smelling like cooking grease.

Horrible service and the food is not great. Not enough room, this is a very small restaurant. The waitresses were very rude. As I was feeding my baby, the waitress came by with coffee she hit my baby’s head with her elbow. NO! she did not apologize! And when I asked for more napkins the waitress said«I gave you one already.» The bread was stale and the eggs were not cooked as ordered. Horrible experience, I will not return to this place.

I went with my family yesterday Tuesday July 1. We had a very good time and service. Good food, yes small place but we had a good feeling all will go great. Our server Jackie was Awesome. She deserved our gratitude to be able to accommodate us all 9. She was great. The food was really good we told her to let the cook know it was delicious. I’m a general manager of a Mexican restaurant and I appreciate business and good employees. Thank you all at this location. We will visit next time again.

A lot of space in between tables which is good if you have a stroller. Very family friendly, servers very outgoing & friendly. Very good Air conditioning for these hot days. The food is good for what you are paying for. I like there albondigas there pretty good, beef flautas good, chile relleno is cheese but the best is there sea food stews. Our New local Mexican restaurant :-)!

We are regulars here at Casa Jimenez– maybe it’s their awesome all you can eat option, or their yummy albondigas soup, but I actually think it’s their friendly staff who remember that I love pico de gallo with my chips! I love that they remember us and are always super accommodating to us. Their customer service is on point! Good food and great company– this place is great if you’re craving Mexican food. It definitely keeps us coming back!!!

Ok so ive been coming here a few times in the last couple of months and the food is great to match the prices. Its a small location but never too busy to grab a table and enjoy a good meal. This lil gem has a daily deal of all you can eat food for $ 7.95. The menu has 25 items to choose from and the portions are good for two. If you get a chance to stop on in, order up any item cause its beyond filling.
