Got locked out in the middle of the night, in a really crappy area. They came quickly to the rescue. And they did not gouge me. Very respectable people and they do great work.
As I write this on Thanksgiving, I am especially grateful for long-​sighted people who do good ethical work.

Today I locked my keys in my car. I called AAA and they sent over victor from American lock and safe!
He was so helpful and polite I got my keys from my car damage free in less than 2 minutes! 5 star service! Thank you!

This place for keys is way over priced. Unfortunately we will not be using this place ever again with their rude employee’s that don’t have any customer service skills. We love going to mom and pop businesses to help the community, but sometimes the corporate companies are the way to go because they focus on Great Customer Service! Lastly they need to notify customers they do not accept credit/​debit and only Cash before making keys their’s no sign stating that anywhere in the store. Just a suggestion for any future customers that dare enter that business.

My car key broke off in my door so I had two options. Pay someone to get it out (this place quoted $ 80) or buy a simple tool that only cost $ 5. I called this place and spoke to some guy. He was really nice and told me «no problem, I’ve got the tool. Come on down and I’ll sell it to you.» Great I went the very next day with no luck. Some lady (let’s call her super bitch) just started screaming at me when I asked to buy a tool. She claimed that no one from her company would ever sale a tool. That only a locksmith could even do the job needed. That I was a thief. A robber. That I was just trying to break into cars. WTF lady. Your F’ing crazy. I tried to clam her down asking «why are u screaming, I’m just trying to buy a tool.» Then came the degrading and swear words. This lady has no idea how to talk to people. I walked out without lowering myself to her level. Found the tool online ($ 5) and did the job myself. DO NOT SHOP HERE. BEWARE OF THE SUPER BITCH.

Went in to have our car key reprogrammed, Ali knew exactly what we needed and did it quickly and for the best price ever… scheduling home locks!

Great friendly service. Nice clean shop AAA approved. They were friendly and took care of a broken key I had. They also have pretty cool collection of custom keys with style. Couldn’t resist.

By far the fastest and most knowledgable locksmiths in Southern California. Came here a couple times but I’m convinced these guys are the real deal. If your looking for quality service and unbeatable prices, this is your place.

After returning back to my Grandmas house from a day out I realised that we was locked out from her house. My Grandma being old was very anxious about the whole situation, however I got straight on the phone to American Lock & Safe and they were to her house within 5 minutes. They were very professional and got the job done very quickly and efficiently. The pricing was very reasonable and was definitely affordable to any customer that may come across this situation. From now on if I ever have any problems with locks then I know who to call straight away. Overall a brilliant customer service replicated especially by Bravo.

This place is great. I live nearby and had been there once before to make a copy of my wife’s car key and it was quick and easy. I went back today to buy a cylinder for a mortise lockset. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find the one I needed but they definitely tried their best to accommodate me. Even promised to order different ones and asked me to check in with them in a few days. Not sure how many ppl work there but the man, his wife, and their son all seem very friendly and professional. Won’t think twice about coming back here in the future.

Walked in last night after noticing they replace car keys. I was so exciting knowing they would charged me $ 25 instead of $ 200 at the car dealership. My old key was worn out and the lady who worked there told me to never use it again because it would ruin my engine. She seemed knowledgable and I would go back for any future new keys. At that time their credit car machine was down and took cash so she advised I walk over to the ATM in target. She waited for my return then closed up the shop as it was way past their store hours. Thanks lady!

Walked in today for a new remote for my truck. They had in stocked, programed it and had me out of there in no time. Very professional and helpful. Glad to know you can still get quality service. I highly recommend.

Bent the key to my chevy avalanche truck while it was running. When I got home and pulled out the key it was bent pretty bad. Did my best to straighten the key and it looked ok to me but now the truck would not start. I went on utube and was thinking about drilling it out and but felt uneasy. I called AAA and they put me in touch with American lock & safe. I called to find out what they were going to do exactly to fix my problem and within 30 minutes Mr. Bravo was there to help me. He explained everything as he was working on my truck. The service van was very well set up and I knew I was getting excellent service. The truck started up right away and he cut me a new key to replace the bent one. If you have AAA they pick up some of the cost. I hope to never bend another key but if I do I will use them again.

The boyfriend and I stopped by to have keys made — big step, I know. Meep. We were attended to immediately and shown which keys are available to choose from.
The selection of keys are aplenty. I went with Hello Kitty and the boyfriend picked up a Yoda key. Bing. Bang. Boom. Keys were done and we were out the door.

It was husband wife that helped me… Seemed capable, relatively courteous…
My only gripe is that they only spoke their language, the entire time I was there… Growing up, that was the one of the things my grandma insisted… If someone doesn’t understand, speak in their language or have the decency to translate everything, otherwise it is very insulting and rude…

If you ever find yourself locked out of your house or car, ask for Victor at American Lock & Safe. Professional and courteous… and he can crack open any lock as fast as Harry Houdini. He’s a lifesaver when you need it most.

I had been here once before a year or so back and had a key made that worked fine. I seem to remember the guy who helped me was middle eastern and did not smile much if at all.
Today I have a new car and wanted a spare key made that I could fit in my wallet because the valet key I got with the car has a big chunk of plastic on one end making it impossible to fit in my wallet.
Here’s today’s story.
I call about 9AM and a lady answers. I inquire about a key for my car. I hear her flip through some books and she doubts they have the key and says she isn’t at the shop anyway. I hang up and start looking through Unilocal for another locksmith close by. These guys (American) are about .5 miles from my house. About 5 minutes go by and the lady calls back and says they may have the key, to stop by to find out if they do for sure, and that someone is at the shop now … uh, ok.
So I stop by and sure enough the one without smiles is there plus a chunky fellow with only a few teeth. Immediately «smileless» takes one look at my key and says they do not have the key. But «toothless» starts looking through some books anyway. They both assume the key has a microchip in it. I assure them it is just a valet key. That changes everything! Now they go to work and find the correct key for me, all the while smileless doubting they have the key. Does this guy want my business or what? Weird.
Toothless finds the blank and grinds me a key and tells me to go try it out. I do and it works great! Opens door and also starts car no problem. I have them make another spare and $ 10 later I am out the door. But before I leave, toothless tells me not to start the car with the spare he just made, «It may scramble the computer brain and you might not be able to start the car again for 30 – 45 minutes.»
Uh thanks dude, now you tell me.
When he told me to make sure the first one worked, that is what I did! I tell him I already did start the engine. He looks at me in amazement as to say «Why’d you do that?»
These guys are not the sharpest tools in the shed I will tell you that … an odd bunch for sure. But if all you need is a key made, they seem to have a wide variety and will most likely have what you need.
Oh, I thanked toothless and he he smiled and waved goodbye. Smileless on the other hand failed to acknowledge me as I thanked him on my way out. Hmpf …
I guess it is that I have worked many years in «Customer Service» oriented businesses, and when at times customer service amounts to just a simple smile and thank you, I find it baffling that people who own customer service orinted businesses fail to do those very simple things. But who knows? Maybe his cat died that morning and the last thing he wanted to do was smile and say thank you. If it had been my cat, I’d be an emotional wreck … soooo, I gotta give em’ the benefit of the doubt and just let it GOooo.
