This review will probably get updated as I’m already certain I will be making a second visit here. This review is based on my walk in experience with my 6 year old and 4 year old sons.
Atmosphere and staff: Very clean, modernized store front with relaxing and tender hearted objects throughout. The lady who helped us was soft spoken and very responsive to request and provided lots of instructions /​tips. She was quite helpful and my oldest boys even commented on how «teacherly» she is. For the staff and atmosphere I would give 4 stars.
I felt a little more enthusiasm or build up for the kids is needed and a few more presumptions and initiative to help the parent would have also been nice but at no point did I feel uncomfortable. I think suggestive selling smaller pieces for younger kids would have made this experience much better as even a medium piece was probably too big for a 4 or 6 year old.
The price: it was probably more fair than I am ready to admit but it seemed steep to me. I paid about 42 $ for two medium pieces. The pricing is straight forward and easy to understand. I am glad I did not get a piece for myself as I spent a large part of the time helping my boys with theirs.
For pricing I would recommend a first timer special, or something more encouraging to make this a rainy day activity, maybe offer discount prices or maybe jewelry size pieces at a smaller amount. Something in the «under 10 $» range. It hard to justify 15 $ — 20 $/​each for afternoon entertainment for young children. Price I give two stars.
Activity: My boys picked their pieces before they understood they would have to paint them 3 times. This was difficult for both of them because young children just have difficulty with staying focused while paint dries. It’s messy but it comes clean and I was expecting it.
It takes up to 10 days for them to be ready. That can put off young children as well who want instant gratification when it comes to crafts. Very few things a child can participate in will take this long however it’s a minor factor in the rating. I would plan accordingly though, if you are planning to male Holiday or special occasion items.
They enjoyed the painting and picking out their paints. I think more encouragement to «it’s ok to get dirty» from the staff would have been helpful. They did not enjoy repainting two additional coats so I needed to help with that. Subjectively I give this 3 stars, but if my children were older, I could see this being four stars.
So in the end, this is not the best venue to entertain young children (under 6), however it would be an excellent place that even early teenagers would probably enjoy as a family night and most adults would find relaxing.
Now here’s the kicker with this review, I plan to bring a date here and I have a feeling this will be an amazing and memorable date. I’m actually excited about that. I will update my review after that happens because this could easily go to a 4 or 5 star review. Especially if they have a date night event with wine/​cheese or something that will help make a night of this.

I stopped in to find out about the business and how it worked, the two employee were very friendly and helpful. My two kids and I came back two days later and had a wonderful time painting Christmas ornaments for the grandparents! We received great instructions and were shown around, but also given our space and as much time as needed to enjoy our painting. We are looking forward to coming back soon!

Don’t plan a little girl’s party here, and if you do hope you don’t get ‘Emily’ as your hostess! She is not only extremely rude, but completely incompetent as well. She provided zero direction to the girls, then made the moms feel uncomfortable when they tried to assist, gave dirty looks to the birthday girl, and even had the nerve to tell an inappropriate joke to 8 – 9 year old little girls. It was not a kid friendly environment with Emily present, will not be back nor recommend for parties. Great concept, but terrible staff. Do yourself a favor and FIRE EMILY!
