Pickerington ATA Black Belt Academy teaches the most professional and exciting martial arts classes in Southeast Columbus. We specialize in building confidence, self-​discipline, and leadership skills in students of all ages. In addition to the life skills and mental benefits of Taekwondo training, we can also help you improve your level of physical fitness. Songahm Taekwondo training is an excellent means of self-​defense that all students ages 3 and up can benefit from!

History

Established in 2004.

Since 2004, Pickerington ATA Black Belt Academy has been creating our community’s next generation of leaders.

In 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2014 our Academy was awarded the title of ATA School of the Year. There are approximately 2500 ATA Schools worldwide and this award is given to the top 3 ATA Schools annually.

Meet the Business Owner

Michelle and Kevin P.

Business Owner

Master Michelle Pavlik is a 6^th Degree Black Belt and has been a member of the ATA for over 25 years, beginning her training at the age of 5. Master Pavlik is also the highest ranking female member of the American Taekwondo Association in the state of Ohio. Mrs. Pavlik also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Marketing) from the Youngstown State University.

Mr. Pavlik is a 5^th Degree Black Belt and has over 15 years of martial arts training. Since 2004 Mr. Pavlik has earned more than 15 Ohio State Champion Titles and is a 4 time World Top Ten competitor. Mr. Pavlik also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Adminstration (Finance) and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the Youngstown State University.
