Bounce U

I think it is closed but there is another place called SkyZone nearby. Unfortunately we didn’t know about it but we had fun with our 6yo nephew without needing that type of entertainment.

Had to leave a review after a great experience throwing my 6-year-old’s birthday party. I was nervous after reading the negative reviews here but my experience was very different. We had two helpers in the bounce rooms with us who were attentive and energetic! They took lots of photos and interacted constantly with all the kids. We had at least four people helping us set up and decorate the party room and they were pleasant and hard-​working. While we were in the party room they showed a slideshow of the photos that our helpers had just taken in the bounce rooms and the kids loved it! Our party helpers did everything in the party room — serving drinks and food to the kids and grown-​ups — so I could focus on our guests. We were not nickeled and dimed at checkout — in fact I feel they threw in a lot of extras! — and the manager was very nice. All in all a great experience!

Terrible. Tried to take my nephew today to this location which was supposed to open at 10am. Waited for 45 minutes and no one showed to open the place. There were at least 4 other cars there waiting. Calling was pointless– message goes straight to voicemail. Don’t waste your time.

Will the two iPhone obsessed teenagers tasked with keeping the bouncing kids safe ever look up from their mobile devices? Yes, but only to flirt with each other and complain about work.

Love love love :) fun place.for.all.ages. and the best part is parents night out. Have a night out and the take care of the kids.

This place is horrible. First they make you sign a waiver even if your kids are not going to bounce. They told us to leave a birthday party then they would not serve my husband or I cake! I will never be going to this place again because of how rude they are.

I’ve been there multiple times and just had my 7^th birthday party 8 years ago and I loved it. Best place to take the kids.

Bounce U in Oaks PA — Ripped off kids!!!
Their website contains inconsistent information about Open Bounce hours leading us to believe we paid for 2-​hour bounce time but only get 30 mins. The Staff did nothing to reimburse us for the shorter bounce time or even letting us know that we would only have 30 mins to bounce. The kids were disappointed. That will be our last time there!!!

I’ve been to a few bounce places. This one ranks the lowest, but it’s still not a bad place. I’ve only attended open bounce times. The hours fluctuate from week-​to-​week based on the parties that are booked there. I’ve shown up a couple times and only one room is inflated and we’ve waiting close to 45 minutes for the other room to be available. Currently there are two rooms, separated by a door. Sometimes when they have a party, they’ll have the open bounce people in one room and the party in the other room and then switch back and forth. You can purchase drinks in the vending machine or ice cream. There is not a snack bar available, but plenty of near by places to eat. I’ve never once saw anyone supervising the rooms, they are typically at the front desk.
Overall, this place is ok. It’s very close to my home and my toddler enjoys going there.

The Bounce U in Langhorne, PA was our local indoor bounce place, so when we moved out of Bucks County in 2010 I was worried there wouldn’t be another place for my kids to get out their crazies on days off from school. We LOVED the Langhorne Bounce U! The staff was friendly, the facility was clean, and the birthday parties we attended were organized. When we moved to Wynnewood, we tried Kangaroo U in Havertown (which has since gone out of business) and Jumpers in Newtown Square, both of which are geared for younger kids (under age 7) and don’t have much equipment to keep my kids’ interest. Finding an activity for my four kids whose ages span nine years is a difficult feat, but Bounce U really is one of those places that ALL my kids seem to enjoy.
I learned after our first visit to the Bounce U in Oaks that NOT all Bounce Us are the same! Bounce U is a franchise so while the facilities all look and generally feel the same, they aren’t necessarily run the same way. Whereas the Langhorne location had attentive and slightly older staff, the staff at the Oaks Bounce U was mostly teenage girls, and there weren’t enough of them to keep the peace. Bounce U has 2 large rooms that house several huge inflatables, and ideally there should be at least two staff members in each room, watching the kids on the inflatables and making sure they aren’t kicking each other in the head or landing on top of each other on the slides. But at the Oaks location, there was only one staff member in each room, and for the hour and 45 minutes we were there, sometimes that staff member left the room so there was no staff member at all, just parents. So who was watching the kids? Not the parents. For about an hour it was mayhem. There were loud, obnoxious boys throwing and kicking Nerf balls around. Not only did the staff member (if she was even in the room) not say anything to the boys, but the boys’ parents weren’t paying attention and did nothing. I finally said something to one of the boys when a ball he kicked hit my 2-​year-​old, whom I was holding in my arms at the time, in the head.
Overall, Bounce U is a great diversion on a rainy day or day off from school. Kids really love it. It’s ideal for ages 4 and up (unless you attend a pre-​school bounce time) because the inflatables are huge and toddlers can’t really bounce around without assistance (and they will get knocked over by bigger kids). I love that parents do not have to pay to bounce, just the kids. I don’t know why more kid-​centered museums and activities aren’t like that. The facility is clean but not particularly well run. If they increased the staff and trained them to be more proactive and vigilant, then I’d give this place 5 stars.

We actually have a moon bounce in our dining room (I know, am I totally cool or what?), but sometimes, it’s nice to have a change of scenery. We ended up going to this place for a birthday party and I have to say, I’m pretty impressed. My not quite 2 year old held his own pretty well. I can’t really speak for open plays, but I suspect that he may still be a little young, as I know that older kids might be a little rough for him yet. He loved the giant slide and it kept him occupied. They’re also pretty good about keeping the place clean. I’ll definitely look into a party for him here, at some point.

Here’s the most important thing I can say about this indoor jumping gym for kids of any age: it’s the only place I have ever been to where my kids played for almost two hours and didn’t ask for anything or my services for the entire time.
I sat and knitted and chatted with other moms also sitting, chatting and knitting.
It was Heaven, I tell you, Heaven.
They were occupied, supervised by several teenage workers, busy, happy, content. It doesn’t happen often-​all four at once-​but when it does, it’s just… the best… ever.
Go there. They have daily open gyms. On school holidays they have special hours. Worth the ride.
