Weiss Guys Self Service Car Wash

Nice self service car wash. Didn’t use the vacuums but the wash was good. Super easy to get to– we’re from out of town, so we just took a chance and got lucky.

So, my car needed a vacuuming. I really have no desire to take it to the car wash right now, and figured I would do it myself. I looked around and heard that this place was a self service car wash, which is right up my alley for the cleaning I have to do in the car at this moment.
The carwash is on the south side of the street, and isn’t terribly big, but has enough bays for washing and vacuuming. What I did like is that this place has awesome prices! I was able to get 4 minutes of vacuuming for a dollar! I vacuumed out my whole car in 4 minutes. The vacuum I was on wasn’t terribly good at sucking up everything, like the finer stuff, but it got out all the crap on the floor of my car, so I was thrilled.
Aside from the great prices, they also sell air fresheners, towels and a dash cleaner towel for a dollar as well. I splurged on a vanilla air freshener for my car after I finish cleaning it at home (I have to do the dash and windshield here in a bit.)
Overall, I spent a whopping two bucks on 4 minutes of vacuuming and an air freshener. Also, make sure you bring singles or quarters. You can use quarters in the machines, but all I had was a few dollar bills. You can change the dollar bills for tokens and drop them in the machine as needed.
While I was there, the air freshener thing was jamming. The lot attendant that was there cleaning up came over and helped me. It was so funny. He saw that I was struggling to get the air freshener out, came over, hit the machine once with his fist, and BOOM there it went! My air freshener dropped!
Overall, it was a okay. Nothing fancy, but not bad either if you need to spot clean your car or what not. Good for the occasional stop and clean, really.
