Avoid at all costs. «locked in rate» was increased by 50% once they arrived to move. Then what was supposed to take 2 – 3 days took 8 days. Then on day 8 truck arrives at 11am with no helpers (only driver). Wouldn’t refund, no assistance, everyone blames everyone else. Do anything except hire these people.

i booked this company for my move from phoneix to san diego for some of the furniture. They told me estimate and said no surprises and the first flight of stairs is free. After they reached san diego in 10 days they asked for 200 $ shuttle fee because they could not get a big truck in the community. I am not sure how did they figure out even before even arriving at my place. Service was okay but i am not impressed with lots of hidden costs they have. Will not use again.

Like a wolf in sheep’s clothing, started out just fine. The sales «director» I worked with was friendly and everything seemed to be going as planned. However, the day of the move, after requesting repeatedly to be notified when the movers were on their way so I could have cones placed in front of the building to reserve the loading zone space, showed up in front of my building at 1:30pm and called to inform me there was no parking. I immediately went down to rectify this, to discuss options with the driver but I never saw anyone. By the time he called me back, he had already left. I then received a call from their dispatch office to say they would have to come another day with a smaller truck — and that «this is not our problem, this is your problem» and that I would be charged an additional $ 175 because they would need to come with a smaller truck. What? Didn’t we have a contract? Isn’t this their mistake? Why am I paying extra. Like getting a burnt pizza delivered to your door and being told you’ll have to pay extra to get a replacement.
I then spoke to Sales again and he said he would try to get someone to my place at 7pm or 9am the next day. I never heard back after leaving him two voicemails and two emails (one the next morning). When he called me back the following morning, he seemed totally confused about the events and would see what he could do for that day. I had already moved my flight a day later than originally planned. He called back with «good news and bad news.» Good news is he could get the movers to me that day but bad news is that I needed to pay the additional $ 175. I accepted as I had little choice at this point. I was already checking with other movers who couldn’t fit me in. Then two hours later someone else calls me to say they couldn’t pick up and if I wanted to get my $ 100 deposit refunded they would. I said that it would be difficult to do at this late stage and was told they’d continue trying and let me know.
Finally found another mover that would pick up the next day — at double the cost. I was able to move my flight. I called to get my $ 100 deposit back from US Moving & Storage but I wanted to hear what they had to say first. I was immediately put on hold and when the woman came back she said she could pick up my stuff the next day between 2pm-​5pm (I told them a dozen times there’s no parking from 3pm-​7pm). «No thank you! I want my deposit back.» I got it back but in my opinion they owe me for having to reschedule my flight twice! Not to mention the stress involved. Stay away from this company!

SCAM! AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Company goes by multiple names (1^st Choice Moving, USA Moving & Storage, 1^st USA Moving, etc.), which is weird. No one seems to know what’s going on. Customer service is not a high priority. Completely unhelpful. Shows no remorse for screwing over their customers.
Lisa quoted me at $ 1196 for our 1 bedroom move from Chicago to Los Angeles. By far the cheapest quote I’d received. So I jumped on it. She let me call her the next day to leave a deposit. She answered right away and took my credit card info, coughing into the phone the entire time. Lovely. Anyway, that was the ONLY time she answered my calls. She responded to one email a few weeks later, but was magically absent from phone and email when we needed immediate assistance on moving day.
I was told the movers would call 1 – 2 days before the move to confirm a pickup time… Surprise! That didn’t happen. We ended up waiting at our apartment all day for a phone call and/​or a moving truck to arrive. I called every number I could find for USA Moving & Storage, including 3 direct extensions. I emailed Lisa and the general USA M&S customer service email. The only time i heard from anyone was when I requested a quote under my boyfriend’s name. Someone called right away to «talk about your upcoming move,» and I asked if he could help me locate my moving truck. He said «oh, so you already have movers?» I replied, «yes, I’d like to know when they’ll be here. Is there someone you can transfer me to?» and he HUNG UP ON ME. I couldn’t believe it! So rude!
I finally got a call from Maria around 5pm, saying the driver had a mechanical problem and wouldn’t be able to get to my apartment until the morning, when the repair shop opened and he could get the part he needed. Then I got a call from the driver, who said he may be able to get to my apartment, but his truck wouldn’t fit and he needed to find a smaller one. My boyfriend offered to help him move our stuff if the driver could park in the lot nearby. The driver then said he had to make a delivery to WI, and wasn’t sure if he was going that night or in the morning. Maria said she was trying to find him a smaller truck, but no one was open. And the BS excuses didn’t end there!
Eventually we agreed that the driver could do our pick up at 9:00 the next morning. I told him and Maria multiple times that we needed to be out of our apartment by noon to make our 2:20pm flights to CA. After multiple phone calls, both assured me the driver would be there no later than 10am. He promised he’d call at 8:30 to confirm. Lo and behold, 8:30am rolls around and I still hadn’t heard anything. So I started calling. I called the driver, Maria and Lisa all multiple times. The driver called back at 9:30 and said he was in WISCONSIN! He still had an hour or two of work to do there, and it would be about a 3 hour drive back to Chicago. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I was livid. Maria said she was «trying to find someone else, but no one was available.» This was BEYOND unprofessional, and she didn’t seem to care.
Maria called back a few minutes later and said she spoke to her manager and they’d be willing to give me a $ 100 discount. At that point I didn’t trust that they would even show up, so I asked for my $ 200 deposit back. I also asked for her manager’s name, just for my records. She seemed unsure and hesitant. Eventually she said «uhh. rob.» So I asked for last name and she told me «ummm… Smith.» Ha. Ok. Like there’s really a Rob Smith in the office anywhere!
So an hour before we left for the airport, we were forced to cancel our movers and frantically search for another company (shout out to All Around Van Lines. You guys rock!). This all could’ve been avoided if USA Moving & Storage knew how to run a business and do their jobs!
Lisa ended up emailing me later that day and asking if everything was ok. I explained the situation and told her Maria was working on refunding my deposit, to which Lisa replied «Do you want me to check when we will be able to do your pickup?» LOL. Good timing, Lisa. Thanks for your help.
USA Moving & Storage should be ashamed of how they run their business, and appalled at how they treat their customers. One of the worst moving experiences ever. I wish I could give them zero stars!

This moving company STEAL customer’s stuff! I want to rate 0 star if there is an option.
No picking up the phone call, only give promising words without any real action. This is the most horrible moving experience I have ever had in my life.
I moved from Chicago to California. I have waited a month for the «I will call you back in 5 minutes», «The driver is calling you in 20 minutes», «We are delivering your stuff in this week». When finally my stuff got delivered, there are a lot of damage, but it is reasonable since it is inter state move.
HOWEVER, I had a 90% brand new 48 inch Samsung TV, in the original sealed box. When I opened it, I found a old crappy 21 inch LG monitor in it.
The agency kept saying «we will investigate the missing item for you» But this is not a missing, this is STEAL. I hold my review for a while cause I wanted to give them a chance to prove they are really investigating it and gonna take responsibility of my loss. But they can not be reached since then. NO PICKING UP THE PHONE AGAIN, just like when I was waiting for schedule my delivery.
1^st USA Moving & Storage are same company as USA Moving and Storage, you will reach same people if calling. STAY AWAY from these two companies.

THIS IS THE WORST PIECE OF S&%T COMPANY EVER!!! FOR GOD’S SAKE DO NOT USE THEM. I WAS CONTACTED BY RASHAWN WILLIAMS, AND WE DISCUSSED MY MOVE FROM CHANDLER, ARIZONA TO LAS VEGAS, NEVADA. I told him that I had large pieces of furniture and that I had stairs up to my apartment and inside of my apartment, he told me no problem and that there would be no extra charge. I was quoted $ 1218 and agreed to that, I THOUGHT everything would be ok… DAMN was I wrong. On moving day, the «lead mover» informed me that because of the large furnitre and the stairs he would need to add almost $ 300 extra dollars, I said, «hell no», he then called himself giving me a «discount» of $ 50.00! I was very tempted to tell them to leave, but I had to be out of the old apartment and needed my stuff delivered. I sent Rashawn Williams an email and of course he did not respond. Fast Foward to the delivery day. I was told by Maria Reyes that she would call me a day before the expected delivery date, which I needed her to do as, unlike her, I work and needed to make arrangements. Of course, she didn’t, and then the movers called me, while I was at work to say that they were on their way. I told them that I was at work and couldn’t leave at that time. They made arrangements and we met after 12 noon. When my furniture was picked up there about 4 physically fit, in their 20s and 30s, but when I get to the delivery site, a storage facility, they sent 2… yes 2 older men, who looked like they had smoked themselves into an early grave. I thought how in the hell could they complete this move?! I contacted Maria, but I spoke with a Roxanne, who said that Maria, was not in but she would give her a message to call me, of course I have not received a call. The last thing they left trash in my storage unit! This is the worst f-​ing company. PLEASE STAY AWAY!!! And to Rashawn and Maria, be sure to keep these jobs, because being nothing more than unprofessional, uneducated, TRASH is all you will ever be and that seems to be just the type of business that USA Moving and Storage or 1^st Choice Moving and Storage seems to be, you will NEVER be anything more than you are! STAY AWAY PEOPLE AND KEEP POSTING ABOUT HOW WRONG THEY ARE AND CONTACT THE BBB!!.

I must start by saying the movers at the near and far ends were AWESOME! They were all professional, courteous and kind.
They picked up my things in Denver in Dec 2013 to move into storage until Sept 2014, when I contacted them with my delivery address. The entire time my things were in storage, I had repeated experiences of Mara Reyes’ incompetence. Just when I thought she couldn’t be less competent, she would surprise me again with that damn monthly bill. EVERY SINGLE MONTH, she would send my bill around the 30^th, due on the 1^st, inclusive of a $ 10 late fee. I called and gently explained that it was impossible to incur a late fee since I hadn’t been previously billed. EVERY SINGLE MONTH, she apologized and promised to fix it and that it wouldn’t happen again. EVERY SINGLE MONTH, a late fee appeared on my bill. EVERY SINGLE MONTH I relived this same exercise with the ever-​incompetent Maria Reyes.
That was my sampling of the frustration that was to accompany my final delivery. All this time I’m thinking my things are safe in their professional climate-​controlled storage facility. When I called to schedule final delivery, I was blown-​off, and experienced my first real twinge of anxiety — I seriously began to wonder if my things had been sold on ebay or craigslist months prior, as I continued to faithfully pay my monthly storage fee. After daily persistence spanning nearly 2 weeks, I finally got a delivery time-​frame out of the ever-​incompetent Maria Reyes. Actual delivery was a day later than what she told me, but I was overjoyed when I saw the truck pull up! Fully half of my joy was in believing that I’d never again have to deal with the ever-​incompetent Maria Reyes.
I probably wouldn’t be writing this review except for what I later discovered… as I said at the start, the movers themselves were fantastic! And I’m grateful for being the Type A person I am. I made my own inventory list before loading the truck in Dec. Because of my list, I was able to quickly determine I was missing two very integral items: the LEGS and BASE to my pub table (the chairs and table top strangely made it), and a custom-​cut glass shelf that goes to my antique vanity. So I have a table I can’t use, and an antique with diminished value, thanks to the ever-​incompetent Maria Reyes and her cronies. What’s with hoarding the table legs — I read this also happened to another reviewer — seriously!!!
I blasted an email to every person I’d ever spoken with or emailed there plus Customer Service, and was lucky enough to hear back from «Elena» who sounded sincerely empathetic. Although I believe she tried her best to locate my missing items, I’m certain now that I’ll never see them again. But THAT’S not even the most disturbing part. Are you ready? Here it comes…
I KNOW for a FACT that some of my things were USED!!! First, the obvious — my vacuum cleaner. The brush was LOADED with hair — and it wasn’t mine! Being Type A, I would NEVER ship my vacuum cleaner in such condition. Further, the poor motor sounds like it’s been beat to hell. Whoever used it must have been vacuuming an entire motel every day for the entire time it was in «storage»
Next is the stool that goes with my vanity… the seat cushion was down to one little screw keeping it attached to the base. When the movers collected it in Dec, it was firmly intact. It has a cloth cover and I shudder to think of whose bare buns graced its surface for roughly 270 days. Needless to say I have a recovering project in progress…
Last thing: instead of cardboard boxes, I packed most of my things in large «rubbermaid» bins, and taped the lids down. The tape was broken on almost every one of those bins. Normally I would chalk that up to movers grabbing them where they’re taped and it naturally breaking there. But given this experience, I am convinced that someone (s) [I know that’s not really a work but you get the idea] anyway, someone (s) went looking through AT LEAST SOME of my bins to see what household additions they might find.
I have no idea what else was taken, and it sickens me to know there are people out there who think this is OK. I’m talking to you Maria Reyes.
But hey, I’m healthy, I’m happy, and I believe in karma :-)

USA Moving and Storage is the worst mover you could ever use! They were great in the bidding process and then down hill starting the day the assh%le came to pick up my stuff in LA. He demanded an additional $ 300 because the person who wrote up the contract (Anthony Ayala) — did not properly calculate how much square footage mirror packs would take up. Shouldn’t he know this if it is his job. I argued with the israeli swindler about it being a binding agreement and all he would say is tell me to get the fuck out if you don’t want to pay it. I did not appreciate the extortion or cocky attitude.
Next he said because he hd to park 74 feet away from the door he wanted $ 75 in cash now! I said move the truck so its closer he argued i agreed to his further extortion and paid it. BTW, the driver also scraped the side of the bldg with his Ryder rental truck.
All furniture was to be wrapped in moving blankets, this was done very half assed.
I made many phone phone calls to Anthony Ahola who never called back or answered the phone (obviously this bastard knows not to deal with customers he has deceived.
I spoke with a dimwit in the office named Maria Reyes, she was virtually of no held– told me a delivery date and then made up a story the day before my stuff was to arrive and said the truck broke down and had to go back to LA and she did not know when me stuff would arrive.
i asked for a supervisor, another israeli named joe– came on the phone and said stuff happens sorry, nothing he could do. They stated they would be happy to reimburse me at a rate of $ 15 a day for everyday they were late after 28 business days!
Anthony Ahola told me deliveries almost always mdd it in 7to 10 days– another lie.
After 31 days and a lot of aggravating phone calls (when they answer the phone) my stuff finally arrived to Dallas– Mind you I drove here in 21 hours. It took them 31 days and a lot of lies.
The driver shows up at noon on a Sunday with no help– just himself and asked me could I help him! WTF! your company ripped me off and delivered the worst service ever and you want me to he lp you go F$%k yourself! I found out he was a contractor hired to move my stuff– even though the liars at USA Moving told me they do not use independent contractors.
Every box I had packed arrived dented, but amazingly with no damage.
Every piece of furniture they «wrapped» was scratched, broken, and even 2 dressers were missing that were on the manifest!
No wonder they demand cash upon arrival– they are thieves!

Not really sure about the negative reviews but we had a great experience with Anthony Ayala. His quote was near darn accurate and his moving crew was great. Punctual arrival and our stuff even delivered waaay earlier than expected. We weren’t present for the delivery but bc we were given the heads up, we had made necessary arrangements. It was nice arriving to our new home with our things already there. A few boxes may have been smooshed but that’s expected when you’re moving halfway across the country, right? Nothing damaged tho. All in all a good experience. If needed, I’ll use them again.

If I could I would give them zero stars. They are definitely on top of the list of crooks in the moving business. Don’t even consider them. Also the 28 ratings that Unilocal does not recommend are all true and have been most probably been flagged by the company croonies. Please read them before yoy decide.
I was moving from Phoenix to San Jose and got a list of quotes. These guys were the lowest and this was my first move between states. Being a novice, I got sucked into booking them for my move.
On the day of my move, I had the exact number of boxes I had mentioned to receive the quote, well below 300 cu.ft. But the truck driver /​mover, Rob, came in and said the boxes are good but the chaise lounge was too big and wanted us to pay 200 bucks more than what he quoted. My husband and I were discussing and he practically YELLED at us for wasting his time. I don’t knwo about others but I do think twice when I have to spend 200 bucks for no apparent reason. He was absolutely rude and kept screaming on top of his voice during the move, did not want my husband to monitor how the fragile boxes were being loaded. my stuff and I cant even monitor how you are manhandling them? What the hell !!!
They dropped my special glassware right before my eyes. And would not let me check if the glassware was broken because they were «busy «. Yea right !
Its been 15 days and no one has called to deliver our stuff. It was supposed to be here in a week.

DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! This is the shadiest company I have ever dealt with. First off, the quote that was provided was lower than all of the estimates that I received which should have been a clear indication that something was not right. When the movers came to my house they were terribly rude and jacked up the price an added an additional $ 800 dollars to the total. The additional charges were to box up items that were not needed to be boxed up and the excuse was that it would be liability if anything ever happened to «the furniture». The estimate of when my furniture would be delivered was also a incorrect.
Once I received my furniture, an item was broken and two items were missing. So I was charged extra to have items boxed up that were lost or stolen??? DO NOT attempt to contact customer service or speak with a supervisor, I believe Maria is her name, pure trash conversation with no skills on how to deal with following-​up or resolving any customer complaint. No sympathy or compassion for someones property. I had to call numerous times to followup on my property and eventually submitted a claim in which was a joke, offered $ 64 on furniture that cost over $ 800. The only resolution is to contact Anthem Claims, which charges $.60 a pound that also was a JOKE. I am not sure who researched how much my furniture weighed but were so far off they may have missed some zero’s or needed to add another 4 to that bullshit amount. This company is not accountable or reliable. Do not let the low estimate fool you, terrible customer service, terrible everything, and you will not get your furniture back nor will you get what you paid for it. Word of mouth is powerful so please DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY, YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF!!!

After being quoted $ 1495 for several items, the movers showed up as scheduled and low and behold, told us it would cost us $ 2900. That’s a 93% increase in price. 93%!!! Not the margin of 20% one might expect or factor in, but actually 93%.
When trying to understand the discrepancy we realized there was NO discrepancy in what was being loaded on their trucks. They were just partaking in BAD business practices and wanted to upcharge us poor, guileless civilians.
I tried calling Shawn, our rep at 877 611 0379, ext 211 and 602 353 3330, to get down to the bottom of this debacle but he was conveniently unavailable. However, the movers at our house kept telling my husband that they just got off the phone with Shawn and that Shawn and I had been talking. Really? The only man I’ve spoken to on the phone that was conversant with me was my husband (My husband is in AZ and I’m in VA). Shawn never called me. I called him. I left messages. But no, he never called me. Shawn was absent all morning. I highly doubt the movers were even speaking with «Shawn».
Details:
We have an oversized couch that we ensured we accounted for by listing it as 4 sofas on our invoice. Yet the movers wanted to add additional fees because it’s «oversized». I’m confused, that’s why we listed it as 4, per Shawn. We are already paying for 4, not 1; therefore, we are already paying «additional fees». Also, after Shawn told me several times in previous phone calls that an item listed as a bed includes the mattress, the box spring, the frame, the headboard etc, the movers showed up and tried to tell my husband that the «bed» only includes the mattress.
Thank you, Shawn. Thank you for your infinite wisdom of what constitutes a «couch», a «bed», and plenty more. Your efforts for trying to sucker us into your deliberate scheme are noticed. I applaud you and USA Moving and Storage for trying to hose us so that you may make an exorbitant profit!!!
Needless to say we kicked USA Moving and Storage out of our house.
Not 10 minutes later my husband received a phone call from one of the movers and they suddenly dropped their $ 2900 charge to $ 2200. Interesting, wouldn’t you say? Just like that they could go down $ 700? At this point, I could care less if they finally agreed to the originally agreed upon price. After their foul communication and business practice, I wouldn’t give them a penny.
These guys are pitiful and a lousy excuse for movers. Avoid them. Avoid them. Avoid them.

Had Shawn actually conversed with me, they may have had our business. But some men are weak representation of men as a whole, especially one like Shawn, who’s afraid to call a woman back because he knows what conversation we previously had, he knows what was communicated. Shawn, he’s just a sheep in wolf’s clothing. Just like the movers. A herd of sheep is all you’d get if you hire, USA Moving and Storage. Don’t waste your time. Learn from my mistake.

I know the company can’t do anything to resolve what just transpired. They actually have no interest in making amends. I’m so saddened for the employees who work for such a disgraceful company. It must be part of the culture. They should have a slogan, «Atrocious Customer Service, 100% Guarantee» or, «We Promise to Screw You Over, 100% Guarantee».
I hope that all the employees that collect a paycheck from this nasty company find a true career path where they could earn an honest living by helping others… Perhaps their next career could be more philanthropic… I mean after representing USA Moving and Storage the employees owe it to the economy to put some good in…

Had I read the reviews and BBB for First Choice Moving instead of USA Moving and Storage I would have chosen another company! They are *both* scammers. When you are looking for a moving company, look for a NON-​binding contract, do not sign a binding contract. Request a NON-​Binding estimate as it protects you from their scam. Do your research on a non-​binding estimate verses a binding estimate.
Once again, look at the reviews for FIRST CHOICE MOVING AND STORAGE if you are considering USA MOVING AND STORAGE and lets get these guys put out of business!

Phoenix Transportation Systems, part of USA Moving and Storage was a NIGHTMARE. Moved goods from Phoenix to Chicago. Driver was exceptionally rude. He arrive 2 days earlier that arranged date (on a holiday), so we scrambled to get someone there to take the delivery, and then he didn’t show up that afternoon as scheduled. Called the next day said it had to be «right now» or he was going to dump it in a storage facility and head to Michigan. We couldn’t get someone there in time, so had to wait another couple days for him to return. That day we called every hour with him insuring he was close and would be there «within the hour»; finally he arrived 6 hours later. Charged another $ 250 to deliver, because he claimed he couldn’t get close enough with his truck. Several items were damaged and missing – will repost when I conclude how well the insurance works.
Bottom line: DO NOT USE. It is a nightmare, they are rude & dishonest, but they have you hostage once your items are on their truck.

I wish I could agree with Dave C. … unfortunately, I cannot.
I was offered a job in another state and had to move — FAST (e.g. within 10 days). I found USA Moving and Storage and Ana hooked me up with a very reasonable quote for a full service move from Tempe to my new location. I should have known it was too good to be true.
On moving day, Rob & crew show up and they were very fast and efficient. Unfortunately, the original quote nearly doubled!!! I had to negotiate my tukus off (including explaining that I would Unilocal about their service) just to bring the final bill back down to $ 900 above the original quote. They had me over a barrel because I had to leave that day! So, against my better judgment, I forged ahead.
The original plan was for my HHG’s to go into 30-​day temporary storage (part of the full service move) and I would call for them when I found a place to live. The place happened sooner than expected and I made the call. The dispatcher explained that he would get them on the first truck headed this way but it might be as much as two weeks.
A week later, I got a call from the same dispatcher to let me know they were on the truck and on the way. Then NOTHING!!! They would not even return my calls after that. I found out why after my badly damaged HHG’s arrived. (e.g. wheels torn off the dresser, boxes crushed, items broken, etc.)
According to the replacement driver:
It seems that the original driver got the derelict (Priority One) moving truck with the hand-​me-​down and badly damaged Bekins trailer loaded up and then abandoned it in the Phoenix area when it broke down. The substitute driver was flown in and waited around for three days before being able to leave with four families HHG’s in the trailer. He drove 1,000 miles in one shot, arrived in San Antonio, delivered one load and was then diverted to Dallas (do not pass go, do not collect any cash!). The driver called me from San Antonio and said «You will NEVER believe what I have been through. May I deliver your HHG’s?»
It turns out, he was by himself and my HHG’s were all the way in the nose of the trailer. It took him 3 hours to get my stuff unloaded, I paid him the balance of the contract (in cash), got my receipt and he promptly drove up the road to the nearest truck stop between here and Dallas, called the dispatcher and told them to come get their POS truck and went home.
I am thoroughly disgusted with USA and Priority One for all the gyrations they have put me and three other families through. Needless to say, they have lost my business — PERMANENTLY!

we had to move from Northern WA state to southern CA, so a pretty long trip we figured we would drive a uhaul but my husband filled out something on Internet and all of sudden we have 6 moving companies calling us giving us quotes. some were out of our prices based on weights but some gave us much more reasonable price based on space. We heard from USA moving and storage with Shawn, pretty nice guy on the phone telling us with what you have its gonna be around $ 1300 and you only have a put a $ 200 deposit, then give half of the total to the movers when they pick up everything and finally the rest when they drop everything off. sounded good, we had 2 weeks until we had to move because of my husband’s job. He said no problem the guys will be picking up everything 2 days before you have to move, we paid the deposit.
Then a couple days later we have 20more boxes, he said no problem it will be $ 200 more, we said okay, total of $ 1500 is not bad (that was our price limit).
1days before they were suppose to pick up, Shawn called us saying how the movers couldn’t come their truck was full or something, they have to go to Portland and so another truck will have to come but its not possible for Thursday, they will come Monday or Tuesday… WHAT we are leaving Saturday morning and giving our keys back to the owners ! Sorry he said cant do anything about that. So we found a trusted friend who will be there to open the door for the movers, talk with our landlord and of course we will have to pay for any extra days.
Anyway they called us on Monday saying they cant be there Monday or Tuesday, it will be Thursday or Friday and the price will be $ 250 more ! WHAT i was more than irritated, are you kidding? i want to talk to your manager !! he transfers me (supervisor GUY), and i explain noway I’m paying extra when they are already late, he says that’s how it is, i could give u half price of the new increase and only increase $ 125 after a couple minute of me being not so nice… FINE i said but we are already in CA and the movers better be there Thursday (we are now at $ 1625)!
Well Friday the drivers calls me saying his truck broke down so he will have to get another one, he can show up Saturday… while my friend was getting a little irritated as well by me calling him every other day to change his plans i was starting to think maybe this company isn’t real and they are scamming us… on Saturday a call from the driver Hmm I’m in Oregon, so i will be there tomorrow Sunday between 9am and 1pm.
So the next day the driver is finally at my home, they put everything in the truck, well now that you gave us $ 730 the rest at delivery will be another $ 1217 !! i was sooo mad, i call the manager asking for a price reduction, he said i cant do anything, even the driver didn’t want to do it… i made him repeat, what do you mean your employee doesn’t want to do his job ?!! he started talking about something else… well is there anything else i can help you with? i was so shocked i said no, because i wanted to make sure they would actually deliver my things…
So exactly 1 week later the truck arrives and they start bringing everything of course they had to be paid first, because in my mind i wanted to call the police on their BIG SCAM how does the price goes from $ 1500 to $ 2147 and a week and a half later ?!
The movers were actually polite and quick, they brought our things nicely and left. well to conclude this really long story… NEVER NEVER USE USA MOVING AND STORAGE (1^st CHOICE, which is one of their subsidiary)
