Ty promised to have everything completed for my project in 21 – 30 days. He presented himself as an expert at creating drawings and working with the city of Phoenix. He said that he would take care of the variances, permits, and deliver a full set of drawings. He failed to do all of that. The only thing that he provided me with was some research regarding past permits, and a site plan which looked «pretty», but is missing the following criteria: lot square footage, existing house square footage, proposed lot square footage, total square footage, actual lot coverage as a percentage, allowable square footage on lot/​Percentage, allowable square footage on lot, Dimension of street and dimension of alley… Therefore it’s currently unusable.
I also never received any of the other plans necessary: foundation plans, floor plans, elevations, framing plans, and drawings with details and general notes. Consequently my project is now very delayed and creating additional expenses. Ty took two payments totaling $ 1950.00 and appears to be a fraud. I have nothing to show for that money except false promises and tall tales. After further investigation, it appears Ty is operating without a license and the city has no record of him working on my project. It was also discovered that no variance was even necessary for the project, yet that was his biggest «selling» point. It’s approaching day 45 now — I have requested a full refund, but at this time, I have still not received any response or resolution.
